@Capnwabbit Great point. Setting the anchor is an important step. And although we don’t visualize it fully, it's a important to either set the anchor by pulling on it or using the engine by backing down on the anchor with idle reverse. Remember, once the anchor is firmly set, use reference points (landmarks) to make sure you are not drifting and check these points frequently.
The words were good but the cartoon showed the classic error of simply lowering the anchor to the bottom and then tying off. I was hoping for something to show my father in law to stop him from doing exactly that!
