While it was fun to watch someones elses take on the series I do wonder why you would bother. There is already a pretty good dub on the market and if that isnt what you like there alwasys subtitles.

But a Nadescio TAS would be good if done right.

I dunno...I mean, Nadesico pretty much was a parody on the whole 'space opera' anime genre to start with...I don't know how someone could parody a parody and get away with it...

That said, if a TAS is coming...I call dibs on Akatsuki! ^_^

@cyberpsygen7 The whole thing with Gekiganger goes out the window when you realize that the cast of Gekiganger watches Nadesico the same way Nadesico watches Gekiganger.

Silliness aside, my point was, it's a little redundant to poke fun at a parody because it's not taking itself seriously in the first place. How can you make fun of the fact that the characters are in a silly situation when the characters themselves acknowledge that they're in a silly situation, and act accordingly?

who ever acted as Ruri did a good job. It really had that calm and "i'm riding in a ship of fools." arora. That was awesome. Believe me, Ruri did say that on the show.

Everyone did a very good job. Masako obviously had all the parts, and differentiated well.

However, I have to say, Nick Tiner stole the show as Gai. Everyone did great, but he kicked some major ass. The energy he put into his performance felt contagious. I've never even seen this anime, and I was pumped up.

The voices for this are fantastic! It really does sound like i'm watching a professionally dubbed anime. Seriously Masako, quite impressive. You have a great cast of voice actors for this, they are perfect for it.
