For the people talking about lo-fi. Lo-fi represents low fidelity. In other words a reduction in sonic quality. Tycho does not represent that in any way. You will hear a lot of distortion, tape hiss, vinyl cracks and pops, and low freq.hum in Lo-fi music. Lots of times it will sound like it is being played through an outdoor speaker system or megaphone. It can never be a genre, because Lo-fi is used in many different styles of music. Teebs, Tokimonsta and Portishead use a lot of Lo-Fi elements.
