Really, Brink is its own game; all this BS about how its stealing all the ideas from other games, especially TF2 and Mirror's Edge, is just silly. Brink is its own game, its original with ideas and combat style, and god does it look addicting. :D

@TheMcstevester it's not just the classes, Brink only has 4 class and TF2 has like 7 I think. Why people keep saying it's like TF2 is because of the body types + Weapons + Skin Color. Like the Heavy in TF2 is a big white guy with a Big @ss gun. The demo is a black dude with a nade launcher. Sniper.. well he's a sniper with sun glasses. Solder shoots rockets. And the spy wears a similar face mask like the dude at the very end, he also has the same gun. Just little things that remind us of TF2.

The Jamaican with the nade launcher and the spy at the end were probably intentional nods to Valve, as Splash Damage was obviously inspired by the art style and some gameplay mechanisms of TF2. I think Brink is supposed to allow the player to customize their characters' appearances and the class choice only sets the body type, so they won't appear like that in-game.

Oh, just as an FYI, TF2 has nine classes.

also, brink doesn't have a strict class system like tf2, you modify your character to how ever you play the game, you could have a heavy body and play engineer, you can change everything about your character, and weapons are completely customizable too. This is not team fortress 2 it will play completely different and it looks completely different too. Tf2 is cartoon style, Brink is hyper realism.
