lmao i feel kind of cheated that the gamecube is exactly this just better graphics and maybe a different storyline? Maybe...? I can tell exactly what parts these guys were using and i've never seen custom robo 64 before.

Alot of Nintendo 64 games had 64 after their names.

If you see a game that ends with 64, then it's probarly for the N64.

no, it's a japanese only game. also as far as i know there isn't an english patch yet.

hopefully they'll release it on the wii though. they did it with sin and punishment (but that was a pretty easy one to do.....)

the final boss is INSANE!!! it shoots out a RED spray gun (theres lots of bullets and they are blue with a yellow tail) and its crazy fast!! i was at 4 HP when i finaly beat it!!!

Nah, Ray Legend was the one in the 64 version as well as Battle Revolution as a tribute to the 64 game. Ray Mk. III was in Custom Robo Arena. Battle Revolution had Ray 01, who also made a deput in Arena as tribute. So if they make another Custom Robo game, you can bet that Ray Mk III would make an appearance.

That is because he is Ray from the first Custom Robo game back when he was a kid. I can only assume that you are talking about Ray MK III the assist trophy in Super Smash Bros. brawl who is appears to be his more teenage look.

Actually Nintendo re-released Custom Robo V2 for the Nintendo Wii's Virtual Console but only in Japan. Project 64 1.6 is so far one of the best emulators for the Nintendo 64 and CR & CR V2. How you use an Emulator is you download it install it download a ROM "game" then you run the Emulator and open the ROM often by going under file.

@jordan8199 In 2004, the posted a new, better and more entertaining version of this game for Gamecube. You can obviously use it on the Wii. It lost its popularity along with the gamecube, and the games are rare and hard to get but I guess you could find some on Ebay if interested.

@KrazyKain I modded my N64 to play Japanese games, which was surprisingly easy (you basically just need to get a special screwdriver), so I'm just buying this on eBay. Did the same thing with the original N64 Animal Crossing.

The N64 orginials look a bit like the DS visuals. By the way, I thought the second last fight was too easy. If you used the right weapons, and make use of air dashes, it was easy.

even more sad news: there were THREE custom robo games not released in the US. Custom Robo (the one in this video), Custom Robo V2 (also on N64), and Custom Robo GX (for game boy advance). GX was unique, sinec it was 2d unlike the console ones, and the way you fought was very different. you almost never fought on land, and all robos stayed in air.

i have this ROM. although what i seriously hate is that the sounds are completely kiddy. gameplays smooth, but i hate the sound. every robo makes a boing when they jump, the launcher makes a cartoony squish =P, and steps make some weird sound xD

You can order the game from ebay for about 50 dollars usually though only if you modified your N64 to play Japanese games (and actually have the money)

Actually, I learned there was a special device that you could use with the n64 to play imports. Someone also told me you could do it with a gameshark as well, but I'm not sure.
