I never heard this version by Phil and Don. Must be semi-rare.

It reflects their origins in the hamlet of Brownie, KY, where a demo record played on the jukebox of their Aunt Dimples restaurant.

The Osborne Brothers also do an excellent brother duet of this song. The harmonies of the Everly Brothers are out of this world. Would love to hear the EB do this with some fiddle and mandolin behind them!

I have only been to KY. once,just beautiful!It has significant meaning to me as my earliest American ancestor was born there in 1818! Later his sons were in the Civil War,and one was killed,and the other my great-grandpa!So my roots run deep in this beautiful state!Thanxs much!
