To me, this band sounds much better now, but this is my opinion, i believe that the vocal tracks are much better, i can understand what he's saying while he still holds his own unique scream, to me (remember, opinion) they have an All that remains sound about them on this album, t's not a bad thing, it's different for them, let them try something new, thumbs up from me on this, sounds excellent

sam carters voice was a huge disappointment on this album. its unlistenable. he goes from this to bmth type vocals and everything in between its awful and i love hollow crown. hes at least consistent there

its good to have different sounds on different albums.. They are still a great band. Look at The Devil Wears Prada's new album it took a bit to adjust to Mikes new sound (could just be the recording) but its still very good

@ObamaBobLaden I think its pretty obvious from some of the songs the band were getting annoyed at not being famous enough and putting all the effort in and not being recongised for it. Sure this band is better than BMTH from every point bar personal opinion. But imagine if you are in a touring band were you are with super popular bands and you dont get the same reaction, you're tired and missing home. You are going to be burnt out and a bit emotional "emo" ;).

@trignite it has nothing to do with the metalcore vocals, its just the whole style in general. the riffs and breakdowns arent as heavy. but their new song devils island is amazing im hoping its a sign their going back to their roots. and the vocals on hollow crown are amazinggg so dont even give me that! theres clean vocals on that cd as well and the screams are incredible.
