The solution to that is a simple explanation: although most men wear "men's" clothes and most women wear "women's" clothes, some people like to wear both. Straight people needn't dress for attention because they are the majority. The "look at me" attitude is why it's the gay PRIDE parade...LGBT people are told by society to hide themselves and their sexuality, and this is a day they can throw it in the world's face.
