if you are looking into a racer, with your height, get a 85, but they are really snappy (power wise) because of their insane power to weight ratio, if you can master an 85 you can rock them,

I'm 6' and about 160 pounds, and 125's and 250's are like flat foot and then some, at 4' 9" you will be leaning and struggling with anything bigger then 85

@mx4life320 I've heard that the last years (7/10) Yamahas break the gearbox very easily, and that the quality of parts is not comparable to Honda and much less to Kawasaki do you know anything about that? Is it true or just a rumor? My first bike was a Yamaha DT LC 50 and i had no complaints at all, a great bike to learn and handle and besides that never gave me any problems on the mechanical parts.
