  • That part about unnatural naturalness BLEW ME AWAY. I went back to it three times.

I love this interview. Amazed by his wisdom. He had experienced more at his young age and understood more than many could ever achieve in multiple lifetimes

  • Great Interview

  • this guy giving the interview needs to stfu and let the dragon speak....

  • what i would give to have a conversation with this man. RIP Bruce Lee

  • Anyone who has trained very hard at something, I'm talking thousands upon thousands of hours of passionate dedication, and obtained true mastery of any single skill knows exactly what he is talking about at 12:20

  • 8:45 seeing bruce lee in the zone is so cool lol

  • "Do you see yourself as Chinese or North American?"

"I see myself as a human being."

This will forever be my favorite quote of all time.

  • repeat 24:12 -24:13 fastest ending ever..

  • 15:37 The epic "be like water" quote.

  • This man was ahead of his time and we still haven't caught up...

  • smart man

  • running water never goes stale, so you gotta just keep on flowing

    #philosophicalshit

  • beautiful human being, I could listen to him to talk all day. So sad he had to die so young

  • @trinity22love chuck norris got to him, nobody beats chuck norris and lives.

  • whoerver disliked this video is a troll

  • I hate seeing interviews with my heroes where the interviwer appears disrespectful of the interviewee.

  • @DirtyDeck That was how things were back then. Chinese actors were not very common

  • @skhuynh13 So it's ok to act in a disrespectful manner towards somebody just because they're Chinese?

  • @DirtyDeck I think it's disrespectful to speak down to anyone, regardless of what they look like. Just saying, this was filmed in 1971. Nobody respected Chinese actors during that era. Same thing with Jeremy Lin and the Knicks. You NEVER see an Asian person ballin' like that, so people are skeptical. The media (interviewers, reporters, etc) poke fun at him like Burton was doing to Bruce

  • @skhuynh13 I see your point :) disgusts me little is all :)

  • @DirtyDeck very good reaction of the guy before me

  • am i the only one who thinks he sounds like Jet Li? O_o

  • the interviewer is such a dick.... -_-

  • "This is very un-western, this attitude"

haha wow he should have just said:

"I don't like what I don't understand and your words make my brain feel weird"

  • is it me or is the interviewer come across abit ignorant

  • around 20:30 he says non-american? bruce is american.

  • this should have a billion views

  • i like the way he says "TO ME"

  • Great video thanks for the upload! Bruce was & still is the best!

  • BRUCE LEE ONE OF THE PUREST HUMAN BEING TO WALK ON EARTH PERIOD

  • Chuck Norris disliked this video.

  • @Breeze2much They where friends idiot

  • 17:05 LOL

  • The aura on this man is awesome!!!

  • I always wondered how he dealt with "acceptance." Very good interview.

  • ...absolutely amazing, I love when he knocks off his mic and says something like, "see, I AM a martial artist"!

  • I actually have this on my playlist :) everyday listening

  • @HollyUndeadRaven i watch this video now and then too, man its amazing how he describes martial arts, how both control and natural reaction go together. I think all martial arts teacher should follow this philosophy cause I dont think there is a better philosophy than this and this same philosophy applies to any kind of art and should be practiced daily. What an inspiration!!

  • @ozal91 Well Said! i have this interview up on the internet for 2 years, to share it with other Bruce Lee fans and i still watch it, from time to time ^_^

  • @nexpia my speech is based upon acts, not words you see most of the time acts talk better than words, USA is a very violent country, perhaps you see this agressions to foreigners very normal is not my goal to insult USA but your society has become into a shame and i am not generalizing i the acts or doing that shows it

  • 23:54 - 24:11 True words from an honest man.

  • @nexpia Probably one of the most beautiful quotes I've heard in a while

  • this is AMAZING interview man !!! i feel motivated to be SINCERE , by watching how bruce lee behaves. :)

  • @williamlaguma Bruce Lee has a powerful personality, he is an inspiration to us all

  • @HieiBastardul , i hear you

  • @williamlaguma yah hes such a good guy. super cool n intelligent while completely badass all in one its freaking awesome

  • He said at the end of the first half "This is very 'Un-Western." Boo-Shit. The "Western way" is the reason for Kung-Fu in the first place!

  • @elchacal31 I am proud of being Asian no doubt, but what i am saying people from america or occidental countries dont seem to understand that we Asians are very different, at least of the way we think, i am not racist just sayung the truth many americans dont treath fearly foreigners specially Asians you are the racist not us

  • @koi891 Although it'd be true in many cases, not everyone follows the racist ways of our flawed society. Try not to generalize, because there are others that are born Americans that can respect a fellow human being's individuality.

  • i dont like this berton fag

  • He should have let him speak more.

  • no way is the world bruce lee died the way they say he did.....he was such a revolutionary they had to kill him

  • Yeah burton doesnt seems to show al least of a bit of interest, he is american , we asian people ( i am japanese) think extremly different, americans want us to be like them and that cannot happen

  • @koi891 Hey man that's not fair, i'm American and that sounded racist, we're not all the same and actually i like the Asian cultures, A LOT, you should be proud of being Asian (:

  • Burton isn't a very nice guy

  • I like how the interviewer cuts Bruce off in the end when he's in the middle of explaining the most beautiful universal truth.... That guy's an illuminati for sure... he definately fits the profile (old, white, suppresing the truth)

  • @jayyy689 yeah man. then gives the camera a look like 'get me away from this nut job',lol!

  • @mackinyoungin Ok mr, you have been raving about this documentary for ages now. bt speaking of bruce, a remake of game of death would be fant-awesome. In fact, let me watch that scene with the 'nunchakus'

  • The host was a Dick..but what would u expect for those times..I give Bruce lee mad credit for keeping his composure especially when he was trying to explain expressing yourself thru the art of mma,and the just said that it wasent the western way of thinking..I'm sure the motherfucker would flip in his grave if he know Obama was president..

  • how can i download this on a pc?

  • My favorite human ever.

  • Love this interview. Nice to see the entire thing in one clip! Thank you!

  • Thank-you for posting the complete video, awesome!

  • Thankyou, this video is briliant, he is a real oinspiration, shame he isnt still living today :)

  • is it me or is the burton man seems annoyed at the end...?

  • Happy B-day Bruce!! My biggest Hero

  • thank you for sharing. it's priceless.

interesting thing said by bruce @22:53 to the end which i think is very true.

  • and the whole superstar spiel... the host doesn't understand what bruce lee represents and his incompetence is laughable.

  • pussy tv show host, much rep to lee!! he told the dude he didnt teach any specific fighting style and he is big on philosophy and the dude after the first break says he taught blah blah style and disrespects him by saying can you believe this martial artist studied philosophy?? AN INSULT TO LEE!!

  • @darkshdow87 its not an insult lol did you think people FIGHTING in the 1960s or w.e studied philosophy let alone studied Anything at all?

  • @JustmeKasie Bruce Lee did! thats why its insulting to him. The host should have known more background on Lee and been more respectful.

  • @darkshdow87 dude relax. this was like the 1970s. i think youre overreacting lmao, u misunderstanding sumthin

  • @JustmeKasie I feel that you are misunderstanding the life Bruce Lee dedicated himself to. He wasn't just a fighter, or just a philosophical guy, he was an all around awesome dude who pushed himself in ways most humans don't even dream about. Anyway I'm done arguing.

  • i could feel a definite daoist influence on his thoughts in this interview. good stuff

  • That is awesome

  • Awesome.. The whole interview in one clip.. How did you post a video that was 26 minutes?

  • @masteroflife777 moust ppl can do it

  • @masteroflife777 When you get a YouTube account, just select "Director" account. You can upload way beyond the normal 10 minute limit on a normal account!

  • His fist is literally a blur... and his kick was faster.

Your amazing and inspiring to all Martial Artists Bruce. (including me)
