I think it takes quite a bit of self-reflection & courage to go on internationally, admit you were an atheist, and speak about the personal moments that led you to change. If that makes you a "kook", then so be it.
Thanks for the refreshingly honest recount of your finding religion, and I hope that others are tolerant of your view & path back to Christ.

The tradition of the 'church' is not to question the church.
The Catholic church, being the Catholic church, is not in the habit of admitting its failings. The Pope is supposedly infallible. Do you honestly believe that ? The Bible is open to interpretation.: What's metaphorical and what's fact ? What's been removed and what's been put in with each translation ? Contradictions abound . It's beyond human comprehension is not an answer where proof is lacking.

Yeah. The Billings Method is completely infallible according to the church
The expectation that you can somehow contain the spread of AIDS by preaching rather than handing out condoms has plenty of merit.
The Pope ( the guy with the designer red shoes ) doesn't look the least bit selfish telling everyone else to give until it hurts while living in luxury off the avails of his church's doctrine.
There's nothing wrong with sheilding child molesting priests from being prosecuted by the law. Yeah

You're no less delusional than a scientologist, a raelian or any other kook group. Your group is certainly larger but none the wiser.
