Outstanding video... you captured a culture. In India the barriers at a train crossing go down about two minutes before a train arrives AND stay down until after the train passes as they don't always have electronic gauges to alert the crossing. (If this were an Amtrak US train that could mean they're down for two hours at times ;>)...AND, note the lack of anger, frustration and conflict in this "tense" setting. It would be different in the US!

I'm Canadian-Indian and I found this a funny reminder of how India is in some parts when I went to visit their. Look at all the traffic all the different types of transportation people take; it's amazing and even overwhelming during the first week I came to see India. I find the people crossing the railroad tracks with the on-coming train like daredevils but for them its daily life.
