I am always amazed to see this kid come out and blow his drum kit away with his technical skill. More than just being technically skilled little man is just amazingly skilled naturally. Yea granted there has to be a lot of practice to get where he is but there also has to be that natural ear for it. Obviously he has that ear for it.

He's SO close. He can do it. The timing is what's off. THAT'S IT. There's talent there. Just needs to focus his energy and REALLY pay attention on the accents and the rhythm. I believe this child along with others on youtube will go places. This is where it all starts. I actually go my first 5 pc. at his age. I sucked hard but I had the basics done. @goforit397 The hi-hat doesn't need to be next to the snare, it's more convenient if you have a smaller set, but being that he has 2 bass pedals and no need to raise the hi-hat, so there's really no point in having it next to the snare. Besides, if you're playing as hard as he is and given that he's 9 and doesn't have longer arms, it's probably best that he doesn't have his sticks crossed or he would most likely have a lot of stick clicking.
