The Ripp mods supercharger can EASILY produce over 450 WHP... this is enough to be rolling next to a 370z, Mustang Gt, infinity G37, w/e... And leave them in the dust.
4g is slow with and without turbo... well the 4g v6 makes 265hp. nice mivec engine, good desgin nlock model and so on, so with a turbo ill say it be a beast. stock cn beat a srt4 from a dig or a gti and keep up with a r32 or beat it. so dont say its slow. a 3g gs eclipse is slow thats 145hp or a rsx/ not a 4g.

4g63's are easy as hell to rebuild. How you can honestly say the 1g's are ugly is beyond me. In 90-94 they were ahead of their time in looks/performance. They have a true "sports car look" whereas the Eclipse after the 2nd gen is basically confused whether it wants to be an Exotic car or a Sports car. It's basically the poor man's lamborghini in its current stage.
I'm not dissing on 4th gens - I dont mind them personally - I'd just never buy one when I could get a 1g that looks/performs better

Its like on my 2g I feel as though a intercooler and fogger is almost absolutly required. Plus you can tubro or super charge a 4g already. Plus if you look for a body damaged 4g. You can get it for around 5k fix it for 2k and turbo it for 4k. 11k for a roughly 400hp car thats only 2 years old.
The difference is 4g motor is gonna be fresh and in great condiction still. If you compared them both with 0 miles on it sure the 1 and 2g engines are have more potential but, I think reliablity and fuel eccomany goes to the 4g.
If you listen he tells you what they're tuning it with. The AEM FIC is the piggy back they're using.
How is a 4g almost as cool as a DSM? Think that's a little subjective don't you think? Some people don't think a DSM is cool at all, especially the NA versions.

1gb is a ugly pos. Also the 2g GS-t has the most power off the bat except for the 4g GT which ahs 282 hp. The 4g Gt is the fast eclipse off the line.
