• Eloquently put.

  • it's funny how the most beautiful people can still find themselves ugly.

  • Stunning movie. I'd even go as far to say that it's a classic! Whaddya know? I did.

Throw all Kate's Oscars under a combine harvester cos this, well to me, is her best performance on film.

  • Oh my gosh this is my favorite scene in this entire movie... it says it all!

  • by far one of my most favorite movie scenes ever.

  • So is this a good movie or does it suck?

  • It's AMAZING. Watch it.

It's one of those movies that you need to watch over and over again, and each time you get something new out of it.

  • how many times have you seen it?

The best movies are complex, moving, but happy at the same time.

  • Exactly...it left me speechless, astonished and made me think about my own life...it's a 10/10

  • This movie moving

  • I can't get enough of this movie man.

  • i hate how i [so unexplainably] can relate to this movie. they really did a great job with it, and portraying the many emotions that come with each scene.

  • Perfect scene in the perfect time in the movie. This is as near perfect a movie gets. Did I mention the word perfect yet?

  • Best scene in the movie, I just love it how Joel realizes that he still loves her and its like all the good overpowers the bad in their relationship...

  • Clementine is in everyone of us:)

    Besides,stunning concepts and visuals!<3

  • this movie is life... it shows real life.. its so beautiful!

  • what's the song called at 2:09 ? I absolutely love this movie!

  • This movie is so freaking amazing.

There's really nothing else I can say.

  • If I have a daughter, I'm naming her Clementine.

  • ♥

  • I love this movie. And I can really relate to Clementine in this scene.

  • it gets me every time..like a memory that would never go away.

  • how can you say clementine was bad and what makes this world bad? everyone needs a clementine, thats one of the main points this movie is teaching you, no matter what pains you may experience in a relationship it should never just be erased, we learn from our past experiences good and bad

  • everyone needs a clementine...

    wow..

    very very very deep

omg.... i saw that quote and i start like crying :S it's so true that..

  • wat is this soundtrack called?

  • 19 Phone Call (Jon Brion)

  • Phone Call

  • these parts really show the best parts of being in a relationship. =) never forget them.

  • Jim Carrey should have gotten an Oscar for his role of Joel Barrish.

  • i am straight balling

  • this scene makes my cry :P..

  • the best movie fucken ever my favorite jim carry amazing ket winslet amazing john Brion amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Joely dont ever leave me

  • i think the best part in the movie is when she simply vanishes!

  • Does anyone know whats the name of that song in the end??

  • 'Something' by The Willowz. It's on the soundtrack, along with the amazing original music by Jon Brion.

  • Many of us guys know why Joel feel in love with Clem. My ex WAS Clem. Complicated, moody, all over the place emotionally, but somehow I was drawn to her. This is truly the single most brilliant love story nobody's ever seen.

  • nobody's ever seen???

  • it's not very "known" one would say. it's definitely an underrated movie.

  • Oh my God! I love Joel and this movie (l)

  • lovin the scene

  • the way he says "i'm just... happy" kills me.

  • i love clementine but one of those clementines broke my heart they are hard to keep but so good when you have them and horrible when you are away from them : )

  • I could die right now, Clem... I'm just... happy...

  • Thank you so much for posting this! This is my absolute favorite scene in this movie.

  • Clementines are amazing.

  • Is that some sort of joke?

  • Women will always messing up with our heads. It's just the way life is. Soon will you'll meet someone and Clementine will disapear, just like she had in this scene.

    Keep your chin up.

  • this is probably the only piece of footage in the history of cinema that has made me cry. This movie is my boyfriend and i dead on.

  • i love this scene. Cut the end though.

  • One of the best scenes but have more ;) :P

  • was just about to say the exact same thing

  • fucking greatest movie ever. So intense.

  • I love the end bit, it just ruins the emotion huh hahaha but its still funny.

  • my god this part makes me so teary me so hard.

  • i think many ppl know your pain....me included but more complicated story...

  • Like a lot of people- this part of the film makes me cry. Just a tad!

    THANK you for posting it.

  • the best scene of one of my fav movies! =]

  • I saw it today for the first time. Michel Gondry and Charlie Kaufman are f***ing geniuses.

They know what it means to be a schmuck who realizes that despite himself, he enjoyed a life a little better than he deserved.

  • Wow Ironic I did the same thing I know your pain man *hugs*

  • my favorite scene in the movie!!!

    *meet me in M0ntauk!!!!

  • maybe its because im a harry potter nerd, but they remind me of remus and tonks....

god, i need to get a life

  • she only reminds you of tonks because she dyes her hair a shitload.

and he only reminds you of remus because he's all scruffy.... like a werewolf?

yeah. we need lives considering i know what you're talking about.

  • that, but their personalities are kind of alike.

  • i love the part on the ice

  • This portion of the movie kills me.

The first time I watched it, I thought my chest was caving in.

It was so pitiful, and it's strange how much I could relate to this scene considering I've never beein in quite a situation.

Kudos to the director for the amazing portrayal of the feelings and emotions in this scene.

    It's magnificent.

  • I cry everytime i watch this movie

  • beautiful. this movie absolutely destroys me.

  • it's on the sound track, believe that it's called "Phone Call" it, like most of the music, is done by a brilliant cat named Jon Brion

  • this is just...

i'm amazed at... what movies can do...

  • my favorite scene! I love this so much.

  • My FAVORITE scene...

  • i never saw the movie this was in but it looks amazin

    xx

  • i really love this. i really really do. my number one favorite movie and scene

  • Wow Such genius writing and the actors portray it so well...Kate winslet is by far my favorite actress and makes clementine come alive...I love this scene the most out of the whole movie it makes me want to tear..

  • dont ever leave me...

  • i heart listening to the soundtrack on long train journeys.

  • hmm its the same backgroung guitar to phone call but the music itself is differnt, in fact i cant find this version, maybe it wasnt on the cd.

  • Its probaly the cd version, but edited with that distortion effect.

  • well its in the movie

  • Did you know that Charlie Kaufman wrote the "Am I ugly?" dialogue after the movie was filmed and Winslet recorded the voice in a studio, ´cause the actual lines that she said were about Velveteen Rabbit and Gondry didn´t like it at the end?

  • the song when they're in the blanket is called "phone call" by Jon Brion

  • I heart Jon Brion so much! He did Punch Drunk Love too.

  • Does anyone know the name of the song in the background i love this song

  • If you mean the song while Joel and Clementine are under the blanket, it's called "Phone Call" by Jon Brion.

But honestly, I recommend buying the entire soundtrack to this movie.

  • whats the name of the song , when the girl and the boy are dancing in the bed'??

  • it's by the willowz. it's either called something or i wonder, i forget which.

  • What is the background music?

  • Hey thanks for posting this scene!

This is such a tenderly private moment, I just love it!

  • This is the most beautiful scene in the entire film, it makes me cry and cry every time...

  • wow this scene always brings tears to my eyes. thank u

  • my favorite scene!
