She didn't break any barriers, she rode the elevator up to the glass ceiling. I don't want to vote for a woman just becuse she is one, I want to vote for a woman because she is the most qualified candidate there is.
Much as I approve of a woman being on a presidential ticket, two years as a governor and ten as mayor of a snow drift does not make you presidential material. McCain's poor health and age make this a bad choice.
well i'd say being on the Senate committee for Foreign Relations probably puts him a bit closer to presidential than being the ethics commissioner of the Alaska oil and gas conservation commission - call me crazy. But the point I make is if the vice president was to be called upon to be commander and chief for whatever reason (and which seems entirely possible in McCain's case judging by his medical history), Biden's experience trumphs that of Palin by large margin.
They are trying to steal hillary voters by using bait and switch. this woman cant even come close to filling clintons shoes. not to mention its an insult to all females that they would just put any woman in as VP even though panin is NOT qualified to be VP and for sure not president
