Hey i am not sure if anyone would know the answer to this but i am going to running 2 15'' kicker comp subwoofers with a 1000 watt amp and was wondering if my distributor (old stock 89 Ford Probe) will handle it without dieing or if i need a new one what one would handle it without dieing and be the cheapest. Thank you!
Haha... My roof does that too!!! I'm gonna do some sound deadening to the roof, back wall, and sides and floor.. hope it will stop the ringing metal.. I have my comps in around 4 cubes a piece... They slam!
I love dubstep... been in to it for almost 2 years now... It's the wide variety of bass lines that i love, I still like my rap/hip-hop and crap but there isn't enough creativity with the bass lines in my opinion. Nice set up man.
@zacattack973 lol you think subs will blow when there isnt enough power?? and that amps will go into protect mode if they put out too much power??? hahahaha oh my.. i think YOU need to learn before you speak. saying they will blow if there isnt enough power is like saying you will break your chain on your bike if you dont push hard enough. and amps wont go into to protect if they put out too much power either. they go into protect if they sense too many/not enough volts, wrong impedence. fyi
Nice, you should get a new head unit. Trust me, makes a big difference. I got two comp 12's and ordered two comp 15's today. Now I know what to expect ;D
@jakubs17 500 would be good but it has to do 500 at 2 ohms if you are looking for something just to power these subs i would say go with a alpine mrp 500 but if you looking to upgrade i would say go with something a little more powerful.....and yes they can handle more but you wont want to play them more then 30 mins full tilt...but all in all make sure you get what you want done just jump at something because it looks good do your reserch....thanks for watching my vid
