  • watch my e savage vid its good

  • what motors do you have

  • to big of tires

  • the only difference between electric and nitro is the set up, everyone knows that its not about the money ,the money can always be found wether that means working, borrowing or stealing, i dont understand your point. set some goals for your self and stick to them or your never be able to own anything which means you can only wacth. sort it out.

  • what tipe of weale bar is that

  • what gearing for the katana motors? 23turns

  • i have both electric and nitro and i think the only difference is the electric ones dont piss the neighbours off as much.

have multiple batteries for the electric ones and charge em all up for a day out, just like you take heaps of juice if you goin nitro bashin. i never run out of juice or batteries before i break something anyway. rc is great fun and you dont get hurt, generally.

  • my old neibors hated me because i was driven my nitro rustler at night all the time

  • nitro is for more technical people. if you enjoy the hobby and like working around the hobby then nitro is the way to go. electric is easier to deal with and doesn't require much work except plugging in a battery. i personaly enjoy nitro way more because i like being around the hobby not just running a truck. also i like the ease of pouring gas in the tank and going not having to wait on batteries to charge before i can get out there and run again.

  • nitros is more life like or real feel to it eletric is for kids lol

  • are you kiding me.. there electric cars out now that WHOOOP nitro one.. and electric is alot better

but i like gas... like real gas with 2 stroke oil (like my hpi baja 5t which is fucking awesome!)

  • the fastest rc car in the world is an eletric

  • yes eletric it the fastest but to get faster than a traxxas 400$ jato you would put lots of green to upgrade it to go over 60 mph but i personaly like nitro for the sounds and real time responce of gas

  • The only argument I have heard from those who talk shit about electric is that Nitro makes a cooler sound. Wow, sweet man. I will take 20 minutes of playing time over hours and HOURS of maintenance each time you run a nitro car/truck. The amount of run time you get with an electric probably exceeds a Nitro because of all the "tweaking and fixing time" Nitros require. I like both kinds, but find a better argument then, "it sounds cooler."

  • my rc10gt is like you tune it once and its the same the whole time just start and go pluss it takes like 3 seconds to tune a nitro

  • what motors are you using?

  • what's the charging time though?

i dont know i say nitro power, but each to thier own..

  • hahahahah electric my ass they are shit yeh sure very quick but i can adjust my fuel mix and get easy close to 40 mins playing time were as electric i could only get 15mins and thats with good batts. electric is shit.

  • you can get better battiers that can last 1 1/2

  • no its not i got a hpi e10 drift and stock there is a 1500mah in it but it was just 30 mins of driving but now i have a orion rocketpack 5100mah and i can drive 2 hour so just add 2 of them on a e-savage and u can drive much longer

there is only 1 problem in holland they cost about €60,00 for one

  • waht motors you got?

  • if you are going to be running it at a track you should of got a truggy or a buggy, they handle heaps better.. Nitros are kooler! they have a engine that screams when at full throttle.. Unlike electric that just buzz..

  • comments like yours are gay

  • i agree but electrics are fun stil

  • those wheels/tires are big...have you broken any shafts, stripped gears with them?

  • all were broken, haha! the reason why I've changed to a smaller tires (on-road) to lessen the load. You can watch the video in one of my compilations "Fully modified HPI eSavage (2)" I raced a brushless revo on that event and see the result

  • modified...lol all u did was put rims and tires and heat shelds on the motors but u know i still love e savages

  • check its Part 2 in one of my videos. What I did was not only external modification but Internal Modification as well =) peace

  • nice video. i own all traxxas though.. stampede, emaxx, tmaxx, and rustler. what motor u got in ur E-savage? my emaxx runs slower and that cant happen bc my dad has an esavage and theres allways competition between the trucks... what motors u runnin with?

  • nice vid im thinking about getting one of these for my first rc truck i no i want an eletric one that is not over $450 do you have any suggestions anybody?

  • What motors

  • I was searching for the exhaust, and while i haven´t found one, I noticed it sucked.. its electro

  • lol electric brushless is better than your pecky little nitro cars

lol i bet that thing goes faster than yours. uy idiot.

  • what ever duhu:P

could be faster, but it doesn't have the smelly smoke, and the screaming sound of the engine and all those things.

to be honest, electro is very quick;) often faster then nitro

  • Get The Savage or Better, The Baja 5b, Those Things Kicks Ass

  • i love nitro but i won't say anything bad about electric, because they're better.

  • yeh ive spent 400-500 pounds on my car and it goes about nearly faster than the savage 4.6 and thasts quick. but wwhen you crash at that speed it aint pretty

  • ha electrics are better... my stampede with a mamba can kill any nitro... AND MY RUSTLER VXL SO STOP UR BITCHIN ABOUT HOW ELCTRICS SUK. I STILL OWN NITROS ALSO.

  • i killed a savazge XL 5.9!!!!! nit was amazing and i was so suprised. we went of the line and he was going faster but then i put the power down and left it behind.!! it was amazing.

  • looks SWEET

theres not much on tht will improve the preformance much xcept the heatsyncs and the wheelie bar

(must get a wheelie bar do u kno the mirrage order code??)

you could do with some high preformane batt connectors and sum hi amp batterys

trust dont get hi amp batts without decent connecters cos the stock ones spart melt then shor tout and youll have a nice pair of pretty much welded up motors

(unless your all posh nd can afford brushless motors)

    LOL

  • try to look one of my vids - modified HPI eSavage Monster Truck (2). runs pretty fast than a brushless revo :)

  • Cool vid!

How much did all of the upgrades cost?

where did u get the tires?

  • What is the name of the song in your video ?

  • mr.clay by bamboo

  • were did u get the wheels?

  • hi i like this vid. does the modified goes faster than the stock e-savage?

  • i have one how do you clean all the dust whats the best way?

  • You're right.Elactric power is better. E-savage rules!!!

  • newly uploaded video of mine - check out one of my videos "Fully modified HPI eSavage (2)"

  • looks nice wish mine looked like that

  • savage is my last name and im proud!

  • winter has taken rc racing out of all of us:(

  • no offence, but i prefer my hpi savage x 4.6

  • naw i like the E-Savage no expensive nitro fuel and charging is easy and quick and no oil to mess around and clean with or starting

  • yeah but theres no engine :D

  • hpi savy all the time

  • hey man i liked the truck and vid. sorry but the wheelie bar is so ugly. get the GPM. check my vid so you can get an idea.

  • newly uploaded video of mine - check out one of my videos "Fully modified HPI eSavage (2)"

  • get rid of those super restrictive bullet connectors.. direcly solder the esc wires on the motors.

  • what all has been added

  • check out "Fully modified HPI eSavage (2)"

  • pare, how long is the playing time for the stock batt+stock motor? how about for 23t motor? Plano ko rin kasi bumili. hehe! Thanks!

  • for stock batts used in stock motors as far as i remember 20min playing time bro. advice lng, 4200 n lng gamitin m for your 23t motors

  • those big tires are ugly on that car man!

  • Only for design purpose dude. I've changed to phaltline on-road tires. try to navigate yahoo videos, search hpi vs traxxas. There you will see, video quality is not good though

  • newly uploaded video of mine - check out one of my videos "Fully modified HPI eSavage (2)"

  • what motors did you put in and where did you get them

  • 23t katana motors

  • SHIT VIDEO

  • When u upgrade the e savage u only need one brushless engine -not two, thats waste of money. With one brushless engine and transmission change the car flips over in 10mph or more if u aren`t carefull with the trottle.

  • newly uploaded video of mine - check out one of my videos "Fully modified HPI eSavage (2)"

  • u should put brushless motors in that

  • no need for brushless system. my e savy runs at 70kmh or 42mph now - fully modified brushed motors

  • Hey! How would the runtime on the E-Savage on 2 4200mAh NIMH compare to 1 4200mAh NIMH in a stampede or lighter truck?

  • got the upgraded triple rate springs on mine handles so well gets rid of the flipping on corners and jumps very very straight

  • Do you have a link to those motors?

  • lame dude

  • great vid!

btw join my group, the one and only rc group on youtube, called RC Fanatics!

upload ur vids and join our discussions!

lets take this rc scene on youtube to the next level!!

  • ADVICE: when i start my truck it idles fine but when i press the gas the truck will like barly even move please help

  • dead batteryies?

busted motor due to extra hard bashing? this happened to me once, on my t4, the magnets in the motor's can was broken so peices of magnets were all over the motor inside..

also chek if ther eis notihin obstructing ur gearing...

conidering u are talking about the esavage, a nitro truk...

then u mean when u pull the throttle..

  • what kind of motors and how much??

  • I used a 23T engine; much swifter compared to its stock. Spent about a hundred bucks (US rate in our country) for its engine modification

  • is with brushless motors or the stock?

  • wow.how fast is your e-savage?

  • I just test its velocity the other day and I got a roughly speed of 32+ mph (stock battery)

  • tested its velocity??

u do know velocity is not the same as speed, and there cant be a velocity of 32mph on a truck

  • for sure.. pogi may-ari nito..

  • wow!

  • destroyed any diffs or broken any driveshafts yet :p

    very good bud

  • Thanks! =) driveshafts problem actually came out just the other day. I broke the rear driveshaft when testing its top speed and while doing wheelie

  • You could try T-Maxx 3.3 Driveshafts. (You'll need to shorten them a bit and can't use the output yokes, though)
