  • what a cheat..americans are resorting to drugs again because they are getting their asses kicked by other countries...on drugs and they can hardly win..what a shame.

tyson gay on drugs..jeter on drugs..Dix on drugs..they even put sanya richards on drugs because she can't win..i hope they keep urine sample for few years until the tests caught up with new drugs just like the chinese did in the olympics that is why the americans were super mediocre in bejin.

  • @glower125 Funny, because the track world thinks Jamaica is on drugs. Jeter i think looks dirty, but i think gay and dix are clean. Honestly, the most suspicious nation is Jamaica, esp with Yohan Blake doing what he did in the 200m. In reality, some are questionable others are more obvious in their drug use. I think Jeter, based on her change in physique, is the latter. Bolt, we can assume he is a natural, but Blake beating Michael Johnson's record in the 200m? Come on! It's a dirty sport

  • You're clearly missing it. It's not only about strength! Look at Allyson Felix; are you saying that skinny lady is juicing also? NO, it's about FORM! Why doesn't everyone do this? Everyone has DIFFERENT form, period! Does strength play a role? Absolutely. Is strength the only factor? Absolutely not! After high school, I started over & retrained myself w/a totally different form. 2 months later, I smoked my coach & 5 guys who'd just beaten me consistently. Was I juicing? Hell no! FORM

  • drug cheat. no doubt in my mind. and yes, another american. gone from also ran to second fastest time ever in her late 20s. more than a little suspicious.

  • @rcaddict72 Why can't someone just work hard and win? She was fast and pulled up...leaving her out for a few years. When she came back, she had an EXCELLENT trainer. They did the same thing w/her they did w/Flo-Jo w/same results. Increased her stride length w/same turn-around speed....very effective. Look at her brilliant form. Listen to her girly high-pitched voice! You just can't assume every winner is a drug cheat just because!

  • @stevie586 no i dont assume that at all. what i do is go through years of history, watch athletics like a hawk, apply statistics and trending, allow for wind, age of athletes, genders and so on,..plus i watch what others do throughout their careers- where they train, what testing they have, what events they go to, what ones they dont, whether there is a pattern, corresponding performances and much much more. only then do i come up with some sort of conclusion.

  • @stevie586 do you not realise that increasing stride length with turnover requires loads more strength than most women have?...if it didnt, everyone would run like that wouldnt they?..why dont they?- because the strength required is superhuman for women. how do they do it then?- errr, strength enhancing chemicals. very effective?- yes indeedy. unfortunately androgens effect different people in different ways..theres no check list to decide whos on. measuring speed is a pretty good indicator tho

  • When the Ja females came 1,2,3 in Beejing, there was a lot of talk about drugs, and how come VCb wasn't in it and.3 new females and they won.People forget that Sherone who got silver was the top female sprinter in 06,doing 22s twice, and 10.82 in 100.she even ran the relay in athens 04,and ran down Marian and caused her to drop the baton.she was only 19.

  • Yes Bolt was getting beat by Gay and Carter and even Spearmon at one time, but he was younger than they were.he is way younger than Gay.Bolt ran 19.93 as a 16y0,class 2 athelete without any real coaching, just raw talent, and he did not go flat out either,he never does.I wasn't surprized what he did in the 100 in Beejing.easing up.

  • Make the comparisons between shelly ann Fraser and Carmelita Jeter.Firstly both had dramatic improvements in time. But Shelly ann Fraser was young and getting stronger and incredible improvements did not come at the end of the season when athletes times generally fall of due to feeling tired from a long season.Whilst Jeter's improvement of 2 tenths of a second came from a 30 yearold who should have been tired from a hectic season, but instead the long season has seem to give her more energy.

  • Perhaps John Smith has prepared his athletes to peak later. Jeter is 29. Most athletes seem to be hitting their peak later in life these days. How would drugs allow you to run faster toward the end of the season and not the beginning. If she were running 10.8s and everyone was running 11.1, then I could see a case being made.

  • just to make a correction. this was the first year she trained with John Smith.

  • mitchell4000-Your suspicions does not carry over into Fljo or Carmelita Jeter .Jeter Who at a mature age of 30 managed to improve her PB by 2 tenths of a second and get this-at the end of the season where the other athletes are running slower times fatigued by a long season especially the older atheletes.

  • Fanatastic video - glad you got to see and film this live! Wow, always wondered what it was liek to sit in the stands (instead of watchin on TV with all their camera angles, commentors, etc). Thanks for posting this.

  • I just hope for her sake and team US sake, it's a legal run! The Jamaican athletes have been dominating the sprints for the last 1-2yrs, that I only hoped she didn't do a Gatlin (who had world and olympic titles but not the WR) and take drugs, just to prove the US team has still got it in the. Sad to say but I'm very very suspicious...

  • same can be said for jamaica. bolt times are very supicious. look back to 2007 and he was being walked by Gay along with Xavier Carter. so, i am supicious of everything in jamaica except for Powell and VCB.

  • What same can be said about the Jamaicans? The US has dominated the sprints througout the existence of Athletics, & unfortunately are the biggest drug cheats in the game. Read up the history of Usain Bolt and you will learn the guy has been breaking RECORDs cince the age of 15 the Junior championships. It was only a matter of time before he manifested into the great he is today. Additionally had he been on any form of subtance abuse, the IAAF would have made sure the world knew about it by now!!

  • WOW!

Everything seems to be comming together for her.

Monster time too. Good things come to those who wait.

  • wait and see what the future holds

  • yeah that scream was AWESOME!!! LOL

  • cool, is it just me or does it seem like they're going really slowly? I know in reality I'd be like 20KM behind them before the gun even went off lol, but it looks like you could compete with that speed even though I know I can't, anyone else think that?

  • just the camera angle

  • that scream she unleashes is awesome! i went to csudh with carmelita. she was a driven, hard worker. this is great.
