Games like CoD make killing your enemies seem easy and mundane. A tiresome task. But this game has always been different. It's always been about proving yourself to The Boss and showing her that the love she gave to you wasn't wasted, but for a higher purpose than just a mission.

This game made it so hard to pull the trigger....

...and to this day I still can't.

MGS is a sad sad tale that has a lot to say about the military complex.

Metal Gear Solid is the best game series of all-time. I have never played such games before that is so good and has this great story! I love these games. I hope everyone else feel the same, Metal Gear Solid is not games, it's history created from a man who has a great heart and a man who is creating these games to be loved, by everyone who plays it: Hideo Kojima. Hearing this in Act 4 transformed me back into the 11 year old sitting in his room playing Metal Gear Solid for the first time and joining Snake's adventure. I had a lump in my throat at the beginning of that act but couldn't hold back tears when I got to the helipad. After the epilogue of this game I cried for a good 10 minutes realizing it really was over for Solid Snake. Thank you Kojima-san for giving me the experience of a lifetime.
