Even though Danzig made the Misfits what they were, i think Jerry really latched on to it and found soemthing in the Misfits that touched his soul, Danzig didnt. So Jerry kept the Misfits going because it was important to him. I would know one of my favourite bands lost they're bassist and they got me to replace him, and i've been there since.

I'm a huge Metallica fan myself, Metal before punk, but I don't really like the Metallica version of the song. Also, punk was never about talent so of course the band technically sucked. Power chords aren't exactly as glamorous as a blistering solo.
