Mine is nearly 8 feet now. ^^ I'm making a Superscarf.

I found a way that works better for me. instead of holding the thread with my right hand, and having to let go of the needle every stitch, I hold the thread between my middle finger and forefinger. I find it a bit more flexible.

@peaceout997 The side you used to actually knit with, is the side that has the yarn attached closest to it. So for example say you were holding both needles in your hands. Whichever needle has the working yarn closest to it, is the needle you use to continue to KNIT with, while the other you just hold as the stitches are being knitted off it.
