  • love this :)

  • when thom use this tone on his voice he just break your heart

  • Old RH text

True love waits are you a virgin? every night we are haunted it paces up and down outside my room, it talks to me in its sleep. its in the tape going round and round. it stops and starts the tape machine. goes into record when it feels like it. just let it happen. just dont leave. dont leave. it waits patiently. mum left her 8 year old locked in for a week with lollipops and crisps. she had to work or forgot or something. stanley says. you, like everyone else need to feel important.

  • The 21 people love don't waits :(

  • not a good song for when im sad..

  • exactly

  • That's what I call a tribute. Here's what I call a parody:

    /watch?v=daF_uJTPykA

  • gorgeous

  • what's great about radiohead is how they emotionally connect with people so well. it's like they know how to express the emotions that everyone has.

  • This is me and my boyfriends "song" :)

  • I don't know if A true love waits...the only thing I know is that I just jizzed in my pants first time I listened this song!

  • I'm not living...I'm just killing time....ahhhhh

  • A true love always waits...Right?

  • I'm glad I saw these guys live at Bonaroo in '06. It was funny when Ed O'Brien was imitating some people smoking pot and it was awesome when we sang the awesome ending of Karma Police together with the band.

  • God damn it! This song is making me cry.....

  • only one of the best songs I've ever heard :-)

  • he just does NOT hold back. it's like he throws it out, doesn't matter if the voice cracks or goes out of tune. It makes it sound raw, confident, and emotional.. its pretty cool, i think. And his vibrato is out of this world as well..

  • Did he play this as Thom Yorke, Atoms for Peace or Radiohead. Absolutely beautiful anyway.

  • Thom Yorke has been my musical hero since early 90's. tried others but always come back to his music. Cannot find any better

  • to my girl,,

  • i just love this song♥♥

  • Been listening to Radiohead for years and I still can't understand how Thom has such an amazing voice. It's almost inhuman the way he holds such powerful notes for so long. I've heard a lot of great singers, but none of them hold a candle to this.

  • i'm not livin' .. i'm just killin' time

  • 20 people were drunk when they tried to press the like button. We forgive them.

  • Love is all or nothing.

  • just nice, nice camera drop there at 4:11

  • I think i should just bawl my eyes out now

  • It's about Humbert Humbert and his little star-child Lolita. Duh.

  • an angel <3

no words to describe this beauty.

  • I'll drown my beliefs To have your babies I'll dress like your niece And wash your swollen feet Just don't leave Don't leave I'm not living I'm just killing time Your tiny hands Your crazy kitten smile Just don't leave Don't leave And true love waits In haunted attics And true love lives On lollipops and crisps Just don't leave Don't leave Just don't leave Don't leave

  • now this is real music

not like all this rap shit from today

justin bieber: watch this and be jealous that you never will have this kind of musical talent

  • I don't have to look up the lyrics to know this is beautiful.

  • at 4:14 the camera mans jaw dropped.

  • though nobody in this audience probably could understand the words coming out of his mouth here, there's no way they couldn't connect with the song. no way.

  • This song is a gem. Beautiful.

  • one of the best song they ever did

  • I can't stop crying for this song. I allow myself to be what I am. I accept myself as whatever I am from now and forever. I never leave here me.

  • Does Thom play all the guitar on this?? I always thought it was multiple guitars, he is a better at guitar than I thought

  • @SilentBombr yea I know what you mean. In theory, this song isn't too difficult but when actually trying to play it and get all the little things in it, its friggin hard. lol. I tried learning it and I can play a good section of it but certain timings and accents were almost impossible to really duplicate.

  • @cisco1225 Yeah good insight bro.. I just did not realise he was that good at guitar, I could have sworn there were two guitars when I listened to my recording on the live album, I thought Jonny had come up next to him with an acoustic

  • This song just brings me hope. Always. :)

  • Nothing compares to this song. Nothing.

  • so iconic. so fucking iconic. i love u thom yorke.

  • I'm supposed to be writing college essays right now... I regret nothing

  • @itsachickenwiththing yeah and I have my SAT in 5 days... no regrets either :D

  • @itsachickenwiththing ditto :)

  • @itsachickenwiththing Yeah, i'm supposed to be writing my thesis. No regrets either.

  • @itsachickenwiththing

And one year later i find myself in the same positon as you.

  • @itsachickenwiththing Heheh, as am I. But this song will be the prefect muse. Good luck

  • you can feel thom's meaning & soul when he sing's

  • no expiration date... true love waits....

  • notliving justkillingtime

  • so touching.. sweet. pure. And oddly, it captures the early 00s... lol.

  • this version was already released on the live album they put out quite some time ago. Lucky for you.

  • somehow i always end up watching this video whenever i'm stressed out. There is something very special and very peaceful about this guy's voice.

  • toi te tres beau.... beau....

  • The 19 people that disliked this need to be punched in the jeans.

  • Seriously might be the saddest song Thom's written.

  • such a beautiful voice so gifted in his delivery of a song gifted songwriter he puts so much emotion in his music i love Radiohead

  • @peaches71l yes... so unique. Just thankful we have his voice... There's too many "solo albums'/b-sides of this band/members... so I try to make things simple and just stick to the straight-ahead Radiohead albums lol.

otherwise I wouldn't have a LIFE!, just going thru all their "material"!!! LOL.

  • es una cancion alucinante.... que bueno es escuchar una banda que le llena el alma....

  • Amo esta canción

  • He is the prophet of the Music God. :))

  • this song makes my heart sink. He is a gift from heaven

  • This is why Radiohead is Radiohead

  • RADI_O_HEA_D should adopt this video as this music's official videoclip!

  • I'm not leaving, I'm just killing time; just don't leave..

  • Indonesian Radiohead Fans proudly presents:

Tribute to Radiohead on May 23rd 2010 in The Tee Box Cafe.

Jl. Wijaya II, No. 123 Kebayoran Baru Jakarta, Indonesia.

    It's gonna lot a fun.. :D

  • yeahhhh....we want this song in the next album/single/what ever crazy format you choose...

  • Breath-taking. Thom is a real genius in all the music he makes along with the band. Supporting Radiohead, alwaiis!

  • hear my cover at my space / inivan

  • genio

  • haunting

  • True Love Waits was released with a live album called " I Might Be Wrong: Live Recordings" in 2001. This song is one of my favorites from Radiohead...both the melody and lyrics are so haunting!

I love how songs can take you back to the first time you've heard them! It brings back so many memories for me!

  • @amber832 Mine was while heartbroken. God I have so many weird memories from songs...

  • @MsCalmbeforethestorm :) Me too, whenever I hear a certain song that has some memory attached to it, it just takes me back to that moment! Its weird how songs have that power!

  • @amber832 I remember when I first heard 0.k. Computer, I was travelling loads, so whenever I hear Karma police I feel like Im trapped inside a coach. Very weird. :)

  • @MsCalmbeforethestorm LOL I was travelling while listening to OK Computer as well, I remember loving climbing up the walls and listening to it non stop!

  • Does anyone know what album this is on?

  • @thejokermakeup Never been recorded... hopefully on their next CD for this year?

  • @xpantherx

    i doubt it

  • @thejokermakeup it's also on Disc 2 of the Kid A Collector's Edition. Might be this version, i'm not sure. Either way it's completely beautiful, one of my top 3 Radiohead songs probably

  • @thejokermakeup I might be wrong: Live recordings. Released in 2001. You can buy it off itunes. I think it might also be on the kid A bonus disk, but dont quote me on that.

  • Ahh...absolutely beautiful song! Been lingering in my mind all day.....

  • K, they dont usually do love songs, yet somehow it doesnt surprise me that this one is one of the best ive ever heard

  • Dear Radiohead,

Please release this song in your next album/single/what ever crazy format you choose. We would all appreciate it greatly.

    Sincerely,

    Me

  • a live version has been released on the

"I Might Be Wrong: Live Recordings "

    Album / EP

    it's great.

  • AMEN

  • @PunkFictionProdction hear my cover man!!!!! my space / inivan

  • @PunkFictionProdction they released it back it 2001 maybe u shoud have gottn it then.

  • @graveflower138 Yeah I totally forgot about that when I made that first post. What's embarrassing is that I actually own that CD...

  • @PunkFictionProdction this song (live version) is on the extra CD in the KID A special edition re-issue. it's amazing.

  • @PunkFictionProdction they already did :D the album is called "I might be wrong: Live recordings" released in 2001

  • @MpAnimationStudios Yeah, between the time I wrote that comment and now, I bought that album. I would like to see what a studio version is like though.

  • @MpAnimationStudios The studio version could be with the synthethizer in it :D just look for the video where thom plays it for the first time

  • @PunkFictionProdction

I agree but in case you didn't know you can get it from Itunes on the Kid A deluxe edition...its a live version but it works :)

  • @PunkFictionProdction

It's on the live album "I might be wrong"

  • @PunkFictionProdction Disc 2 on the Collector's Edition of Kid A. It's on the I Might Be Wrong Live Recordings disc (I think).

  • @walonsubi Yes it is :)

  • @PunkFictionProdction You can get the CD "I Might Be Wrong (Live)" and there is a great performance of this on the album.

Track listing available at Amazon (just google the album title)

  • @PunkFictionProdction check I Might Be Wrong: Live Recordings. It has this song.

  • @PunkFictionProdction you can hear this song in Radiohead's ''Best Of' album.

I's also live, but is a very ear-orgasm live version.

  • @PunkFictionProdction its in the ep i might be wrong

  • @PunkFictionProdction A live version was already released on the "I Might Be Wrong" live disc.

  • @PunkFictionProdction

This song was already released in a Kid A bonus disk :)

  • @PunkFictionProdction It's the last track on "I Might Be Wrong: Live Recordings"

  • @PunkFictionProdction To be honest I think an acoustic version of the song (released on the 'I might be wrong' EP) is perfect, if they put it on the next album with a full band interpretation then I imagine many people would be dissapointed. I am content in listening to the 'I might be wrong' version. :)

  • @oRadioheado Did you know that you're the first person in 11 months to actually understand what I was saying? Thank you. Any way, I see what you're saying and I would have agreed with you up until In Rainbows came out. I think that album proved that they can perfect subtle songs such as this. I mean, look at Videotape and the massive change that went through. I think that with some simple production and backing vocals from O'Brien, it might be even better.

  • @PunkFictionProdction Thanks :) Thinking about what you are saying about Videotape I can understand what you are saying. If you are refering to the more rockier upbeat version done on the 2006 tour as oposed to the version the we have on In rainbows (or my favourite the 'from the bassment' version) then I understand what you mean. I personally love the from the bassment version and the 2006 tour version almost equally...

  • @PunkFictionProdction ... and they are completley. With Radiohead I guess you can never underestimate them so I supose if they were happy enough with a different version of True love waits to put it on the next album then thats good enough for me. :)

+ Subtle backing vocals from Ed can do no wrong, wouldn't mind him and Philip having a bit more input vocally this time.

  • @PunkFictionProdction

    Announcement + S.Valentine's day = Maybe...

  • damn!!! this is my first time hearing this song!!! I don't recall any radiohead album that has this song....

  • that's cause a studio version of this song has never been released, only live

  • I apologize for the sake of sanity that you have not heard this song before-it is a beautiful jem! You also may want to check out Lift, Big Boots, and Follow Me Around. The four of these collectively are on my top 10 Radiohead song list. Cheers.

  • SIMPLY AMAZING !!!!!!!!!!

  • OK guys went and read lyrics.....naw sorry....but i am happy for their success

  • No, they're not.

Pronunciation is how you say something (Tom -a-to, tom-aa-to)

    Diction is vocubulary (word use)

Raspberry, Follow and Backwards are all examples of diction.

  • actually diction is also meant to refer to the way you enunciate the words.
