This game kicks ass. The only beefs I have is that it's too easy and it's pointless to have two playable characters. Yeah, I know you said it was hard, but the 2nd was harder and the 1st was the toughest.

They are not releasing the spin-off games like Piposaru Racer and Saru Saru Big Mission, and even the Japanese cartoon show: Saru Get Chu ~On Air~ outside of Asia, ever since Ape Escape 3.

Bad Voice Acting (Talking without lips moving) Doesnt Show how Specter got another monkey helmet. in the end he STILL had it on... They ALWAYS change the voices to our beloved characters. And to the Tv problem.. Instead of Going AROUND the world. TURN OFF THE TV. Problem Solved :D

Um, Ape Escape 2 was not made by Ubi Soft, it was just published in the US by Ubi Soft. The developer was the same as the rest of the game, Ubi Soft just took it upon themselves to Publish it here because Sony didn't want to for some reason. If it wasn't for Ubi Soft, we may have not gotten Ape Escape 2 outside of Japan at all.

when you be yumi, some monkeys have this thing for her, they get stunned and have little hearts aas their eyes and have their tongue sticking out...and if you use a monkey scanner on one, i think yumi's face will appear near the details...(been a while since ive played it.) and one MGS game made fun of AE3 lol. snake says "your mine!" stupidly in this one mission he has to catch monkeys and he also says "gotcha" and they dissapear like in AE3 lol.

That was a great review, and I definitely share the same opinion about the franchise. The first Ape Escape was amazing. The sequels? Good, but they lack the same charm the first game had. Oh, and there is a slight difference in gameplay depending on whether you choose Kei or Yumi. Some of the tougher monkeys are actually fans of Yumi, so if you use her, they will stay still and allow you to capture them.

Wow why couldn't they bring Spike back. He was soo cool in the first one but now they have these other characters. Even though it is a wide selection to me Spike will always be the most fun and coolest. brainwashed ughh I hated Spector's voice in this one too <:P

There is a huge chance! Ape Escape is Sonys "Mario Bros." in japan. I wouldn't be surprised if it's already in development. Since PS3 is a complicated console, it might take a while.

@natlinxz I just don't like how it's so silly and even retarded at times(A lot less so than Ape Escape 2 though). Ape escape 1 I could take a lot more seriously. It just looks like after 1 it went sort of downhill. Spike was actually COOL. I mean, the voice actor for Jimmy was the guy that played ASH! So while Ape Escape 1 was one of my favorite games, I think I'll pass.

P.S. I heard you can play as Spike if you beat the game 100% But did they change his voice actor? If so is his voice retarded

No, Ape Escape P is the Japanese title for Ape Escape: On the Loose. It's just a remake of the original Ape Escape for the PSP.

I love Ape Escape. It was the second game I ever played (I forgot the first's title, so don't ask me) and playing this game just brings back all of those wonderful childhood memories.

I fact, the game itself is just one big child fantasy. I dare you to find one child who would not want to chase monkeys, destroy robots, and actually become what they dress up to be (the morphs and stuff, something kinda big that was left out).

I had Ape Escape 2, but since it was given to me when I first got my PS2, I didn't know how to get the disc out of the case (This was when I was like, 7.) and I ended up cracking it. :,(
