But it was written by humans not a deity, I'm a spiritual person but what's wrong in having an idea opposed to belief. you close yourself off from the rest of the world if you act like that :)
I completely disagree with John Piper, but have come to hear him preach many times. He's an excellent preacher. A master of cadence, a master of intonation--he does what he does with aplomb. His faint Southern dialect is charming. I will always listen to this man's sermons because I like him.

I don't happen to hold his religious views. But I respect that he has them, and as a preacher, I really love his work.
