  • I got this set for Christmas when I was a kid and LOVED it! Mine had double six guns and a belt buckle with a derringer in it that automatically swung out and fired when you would push out your stomach against a hidden button. You could also detach the little derringer and just shoot it by hand. What an awesome set! Sure wish that I still had it! I had a great supply of greenie stick on caps as well. Does this bring back some great memories! Sears Christmas catalog had it. Fantastic!

  • I wish I was born in those times

  • Holly shit that is awesome u know how much fun we would have if we had those as kids

  • WOW no orange tip! I wish they still make them like this

  • Got that rifle for Christmas in '63...I was one happy 5-year-old! Most vivid memory I have from back then.

  • This is why my dad is a bad-ass now....

  • safe shootin` shells? AWESOME

  • @joshwilkie11 0:37 it has a fast action lever for rapid fire like the rifleman im suprised 4 star productions didnt sue

  • These were all made in america by americans. Now all plastic toys are made in china and most americans have lost their jobs because of it. and the government doesn't do shit about it..

  • @mtanyc Kerry was the only presidential candidate to address the issue of jobs going out of the country the guitarist dick dale warned against the NAPTHA trade agreement

  • My brother and I had these as kids, back in the 60's. The whole neighborhood would be engaged in western escapades in the woods and we took down bad guys robbing banks. Why do those years seem so innocent and simple? The world today has become a scary and much less innocent place.

  • back in 20s kids could buy guns for 5 to 10 bucks

  • Cool back then they would let a dam kid be a lawman.

  • back then they had cool cap guns

  • what happened why dont they anylonger make these! also the tommyburst

  • It's realy neat but they could have atleast put a orange ring on the tip of the barrel just to avoid getting i trouble with jumpy cops.

  • @dinosaurus1337, well, you see, because kids were raised correctly back then, they never even thought about pointing a toy gun at a police officer.

You have to try to understand what the past was really like. Then maybe you'll realize what we've lost.

  • That boy totally just Steve McQueen'd that rifle at the end. Total badass. I have a Winchester 94 in my rifle case, but when I was a boy I was given one of these toy guns by a relative, needless to say it was one of my favorites. And honestly, I think it's sad we don't have toys like this anymore. I don't have that old toy gun anymore, but you know what? There's that toy shop in Texas that makes old-style toy guns. Think I might have to make a road trip.

  • @DeadCrescendo They have a website! wildwesttoys

  • $5.50 then. $550.00 now.

  • I had one of these. My folks were far from rich, but always really came through at Christmas and on birthdays. They made some really neat looking toy guns back then. Thank you for posting this neat piece of nostalgia.

  • I wish I could find these toys somewhere... I'd buy them all.

  • Woow that's soooo cool, playing whit real loking guns and they actually shoot.

Mmm ......... Now read dead redemption sounds cool

  • they should throw in free pack of candy cigarettes

  • I'm green with envy that I never had those when I was a kid.

  • 5$ dang thats cheap!!!

  • @alekey15 It wasn't 5$, it was $5.50, and that was a lot of money back then to spend on toy guns. Many kids didn't have these things because their parents didn't have the money to buy them.

  • ...the golden days of childerns toys...where have they gone?

  • out the window with all the the other things that made America great. But thats ok, because every child who had one of these in the 60s turned into a serial killer according to the liberals...right?

  • 5.50! awesome!

  • In the 50s/60s,toys were actual toys! I wish I was born in that era.

  • @Martinntoxx Because it's "un-safe"

  • @Martinntoxx you and me both

  • @Martinntoxx and that would have probably been your only christmas present

  • Is it me. or are these things cheap as shit?

  • @Jimpiedepimpie i tkink its just cauuse of the difference in the amount of money average people had ibet these are worth like $300 bucks now

  • Heck why can't they make the toys guns like they use to........

  • @torchred99 Uh, because some kid somewhere choked on the small parts. Since the parents clearly could not be held at fault, that could only mean those nasty toy manufacturers had to be blamed. Unfortunately, this lead to cigarette law suits, and Ozzy being blamed because some kid listened to his music and decided to end his life. I suppose that is why Micheal Jackson's dr was successfully sued as well. Always blame, and sue some one else. Whenever ya can kids.

  • @torchred99 I KNOW RIGHT?

  • @torchred99 cause people are getting stupider everyday -_- and stupid people do stupid things and when people do stupid things we cant get nice things.

  • @torchred99 oh its all health and god damn safety these days

  • Now we effeminize the boys! Don't play with guns!

  • why cant they make toys the good way any more!

  • @MrGunnyboddy because the stupid goverment sent everything to japan

  • Model 1887!

  • the translation subtitles says "Made by israelis to com caps and says jobs and jobs and the judge them."

  • I'm still diggin' those things outa my arse 50 years later from my l'il brother using it for target practice. ('course I'd give him a John Kennedy every once in a while, just to egg him on)

  • @TwiliteNites

A John Kennedy? What' s that?

  • lol at 0:38
