Can you salvage ships and stuff or capture enemy ships for upgrades?I wanna play Romulan, id settle for starfleet in a Romulan ship though,is this possible?They need to add more races lol this game could be huge!I notice if you preorder you get some kind of borg personal shield so im hopin there is tech scrounging in the game.

They're planning on having Klingon, Starfleet, Ferengi, Cardassian, and Romulan PCs in the game eventually from what I understand. And no, you're not salvaging ships or anything, you get a strict 'dropped loot' system in the game.

When you divert shield to more weakned areas .. is a manual or automatic ?

Manual. Your shield regenerates at a set amount per second determined by the shield, but the regeneration is shared among all four sides until one's filled, then it's split three ways, then 2, then 1. Selecting a side to reinforce puts all the power into that side for a few seconds. I've got a button on my bar, C5, that rebalances the shield for a few seconds, taking power from strong shields and putting it on weaker ones.

Hey i was wondering there you where controling the ship but i was wondering when you are doing that can you like press a button and you will be in the bridge of your sheep and you can walk around your ship that you where controling?

@variant126 Yes, there's a command you can give to walk around on your bridge. However, you can't enter it while you're in combat, and it counts as moving to another zone while you're in a mission.

That's basically what Fleet Actions are - 20-30 people teaming up to gangbang a gigantic pack of mobs. If you ever played Warhammer Online and know what a Public Quest is, that's what Fleet Actions are. It's awesome.

What's the specs of the pc you're running this on?

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+, RAM: 1536 MB DDR, Video Card: ATI Radeon HD 4670, 512MB PCI-E. I want to get a new case, a new mobo, a new processor, and better RAM, but it's somewhere behind paying for food and electricity. And I've got most of the stuff in the game turned down as low as I can, except for the display distances.

Not in Beta, but they're adding something for retail. Most of my deaths in this were because multiple groups had apparently spawned on top of the spawn-in point - whee.
