  • ITS IN THE AIR

  • He might be a liberal, alcoholic piece of shit, but he's right.

  • @willsl321 also a pervert

  • You know the meaning of DESPICABLE, for sure, Patches, don't cha?

  • What is wrong with this tard ? Just another bag of liberal shit. Burn in hell with the rest of the Kennedy clan.

  • Time to pop another Ambien and wash it down with a stiff one.

  • I love Kennedy

  • Showboating will get you everywhere in congress.

  • If you're worried about press now, why couldn't they come in for the Democrat-only meetings as promised by the "most ethical and open Congress in history"? At least he's out of job soon...

  • he is so right.. the press is a tabloid press now since it was bought by the corporates the US doesn't have a free press..that is one reason why there are so many dumb people in this country..they get corporate propaganda instead of facts

  • Amen Patrick Amen.

  • Right on.

  • Although I do agree with the general message of what Patrick Kennedy is saying, hearing him scream unintelligibly like that is severely uncomfortable, and slightly physically painful.

Hey Pat... I agree with you on the Iraq War, and about the media, but damn... Calm down bro.

  • Hay Cisco I have something for you to learn #1 You are one stuped ass hole #2America is the reason you are able to even use a computer and speak freely #3 if your not going to stand behind us then please stand in front so we can run your sorry ass over #4 you say no government will stand in the eye's of YHWH and you call us Righteous you are one stuped person grow a pair and start being a man and not a little girl tough guy.

  • @bikenut63 it's spelt stupid...with an "i"...

  • Its spelt shut the fuck up with an F ass hole.

  • Yes that is indeed the correct spelling of fuck. See you're getting the hang of it. Although it should be "it's" with an apostrophe. "Its" is the possessive form and does not mean "It is" as I'm sure you intended.

  • It's just to bad you are not as good at life as you are spelling I bet you got you're ass kicked alot in school you little boil.

  • Elect this man president. He will do a better job than Obama

  • he is right

  • ABSOLUTELY Mr Kennedy.

  • THIS GUY IS SUCH A DICKHEAD

  • Fuck you. This a great man who cares about our country. You, evidently, do not.

  • jensen1901@ bullshit, this dumbass would sell out his country for a media shot quicker than you could pick your ass... like all kennedys..media hoes.. all talk no substance

  • Get the fuck out of my country you piece of shit. This man is a patriot and you are not. He hates the media and unlike a real media whore like John McCain, Patrick turns down interview requests all the time.

  • jensen1901@ patriot my ass.. he is a media hoe just like all kennedys and couldnt give a shit about you or the american people (unless hes on camera). as for john mccain he is in the same boat as the kennedys.., all media hoes who would sell this country into bankruptcy and then act as if we (the people) brought it on ourselves... stop drinking the democrat/liberal koolaid. and just because someone disagrees with you, dont get your panties in an uproar.. i served this country for 20 yrs, did you

  • redmrlove13, you apparently don't speak to many Europeans. Western Europeans know more about U.S. geography and politics than many Americans. All you need to do is move overseas for a couple years, then you may just come back with more perspective and wonder why we as Americans allow such a big percentage of our citizens to look and act so dumb. That's the real crime of America.

  • @gimmeyootoob we need to hide them better?.

  • thank you

  • Gimmey, there's a reason why America is home to 80 percent of the top Universities in the world. Do some research and get back to me and don't delude yourself into thinking that you can condescend to me simply because I am American.

  • Maybe it's because you Demo's spent eight years not giving a rat's ass about the sacrifices our troops make for us, and let scum like Murtha demean them.

I wouldn't show up to hear what your elitist punk ass has to say on the matter either.

  • you know, its not like if america withdrew its army you'd have iraq invading usa, or afghanistan invading the us.

i think the country should work just as hard as their troops do to get them out of harms way as the troops do to fight for their country. they've been down in iraq for too long, neither the iraqis or the troops arent benifiting at this point.

  • calm and peaceful. i like ur message as well. the world is too small now, all this bogus war mongering and diplomatic horsesh!t has to end asap to make way for ZION. peace and jah bless

  • No, you would have the Taliban and other radical islamist groups invading Iraq and regaining power in Afghanistan. How did that work out for us that last time they had that much power? Oh yeah, worst attack on our soil since Pearl harbor. Guess we better do what it takes.

The Iraqi troops don't have the advantage of already having been a modern military force. They're on a steep learning curve. It's going to take time. It will be a while before any of them have the experience to lead.

  • i dissagree, i believe it was a conspiracy despite what you claim. and even if it wasnt (im not saying it wasnt) america had time to react. osama bin landen threatened them a while before actually doing it. no matter how you look at it, there was a big mistake on the american governments side, and things coulda turned out brighter had they taken the necissary precautions. but thats done and over with.

  • what im saying about the whole thing is that there is a better way then hindering their overall growth as a country. theres more than one way to approaching something, no matter how you look at it. iraq was never going to invade america anyways, thats quite obvious, and as much as i am grateful for america helping my country out with iraq, i still think theres a better resolve when dealing with this.

  • no one should be concerned with OTHER culture's being able to lead other sheeple in some kind of diplomatic way. what ppl need is God's Kingdom which is in the spiritual realm you pimp dirty hearted shmohawk asanine satan dick sucker

  • No, I mean it will be a while before enough of the Iraqi military have the experience needed to be in leadership positions like Commander and General, for us to leave the defense of the whole country in their hands. Try and keep up, if you're gonna join the discussion.

Besides, not concerning ourselves with other's cultural developments is why we have an uncontrollable army of maniacs willing to blow themselves up in the name of a peaceful religion.

  • I don't need to try and keep up because I well know the circumstances. Live and let live and stop trying to control the fate of or protect, when its not your human responsibility, other middle eastern ppl! Who the fuck do you think you are to meddle and try to protect, failingly, other fucking nations in the 1st place, you american 'bad-ass' blow hard douche bag demon worshiping satanic demonic putrid symbol of sin, power and deception??

  • Who we are, are the good guys. Protecting ourselves by giving the islamist oppressed their first tastes of freedom.

It is our human responsiblity, to save those people from the Tyranny they have been under, because ignoring it cost us dearly.

They lost their right to impose their sick belief systems on whole countries when they decided to fuck with us.

Get your head out of the horseshit "emperialist" propaganda and support the righteous fight.

  • the united states wraps itself in a mantle of righteousness when it is really responsible for most of the ills of the GLOBE. i am glad u display a genuine type of care towards foreigners but know that NO human government shall stand in the eyes of YHWH. learn that. peace brother

  • nice its good to see this anger and rage finally come out of the american male's consciousness. though he is still a pathetic moron compared to an educated european citizen or an enlightened individual who is against nation states and human government. peace

  • Europeans aren't that smart. In fact, they don't do much better on national tests when when adjust for the low scored of inner cities and immigrant populations. Yes, they read a bit more and go to college a bit more because they don't work nearly as much and their governments often pay for higher education.

  • see u say national tests. i am against all nation-states and man dominating other men to everyone's ill. go seek higher realms and come back to me when you find any flaw with my discernment.

  • @CiscoNast you forgot women.or is there only men in your world.fagot

  • corrupt judge

  • females are corrupt?.

  • no man. man can mean mankind which includes both genders. females are not corrupt in the context of what i was even saying

  • what a disgrace to Kennedy's. JFK was exposing the truth about who is behind the President and the government. Google: Secret Society JFK Speech

  • Hello to all Im a Gospel Rapper & Preacher I just released my new promo called :Lead em to Christ: I ask that u come & show some love...Exp for the ones who dont believe God is real I think this song will bless u..thank u everyone for ur love & dont forget to rate, comment, & etc thanks :)

  • i love jesus too. make way for ZION the kingdom

  • @CiscoNast AMEN :) I know thats right!

  • This Kennedy sounds even worse than Ted did.

  • What a blow hard :)

  • i agree with him

  • As far as I'm concerned, ALL cable and major "news" networks are a JOKE compared to PBS. Cable is by FAR the worst.

Manufacturing, the news media, the middle class . . . So many things began to die when Reagan ($) and the corporatists came to power. Flag pin "patriots" . . . They sold it with the flag . . . and half the country fell for it.

The 30 year nap is over.

  • I agree 100% with Rep. Patrick Kennedy

  • One of the biggest problems that I have is with this guy's last name. Get away from electing Kennedies to office. The people in the northeast act like you have to vote for them. Why? They can womanize, get kicked out of Harvard for cheating, become addicted to crack and you guys still elect them.

  • @thatswhattheyis even then there still better than most of the people in usa

  • wow, way to generalize

  • if we don't elect a crack head crook womanizer kid touchier then we wont have any one to vote fore.

  • I 100% agree with how he did this. He knew that the press would cover it and that it would be the only way people would hear this statement.

    He was correct.

A lot of you people who disagree with him don't get it at all.

  • He makes a strong point, end the war.

  • reopen the chappaquiddick investigation

  • well said!!!!

  • Journalism is dead, have another scotch on me

  • Didn't think I would ever agree with him but he is right on. The media sure covered the war when bush was pres , what happened?

  • If his name wasn't Kennedy, would any of us have heard his rant? Kucinich goes screaming his head off all the time and nobody cares because he looks like a lawn gnome.

  • In other news, Senator John McCain ordered a Cheeseburger at the Congressional concession stand and Sec. of State Hilary Clinton got her hair cut.

  • he sounds crazy... but I think he's right.

  • He's absolutely right! The government of this country along with the media has betrayed us, lied to us, and spit all over the constitution of this nation! They have committed treason and should be arrested and put on trial! The good news is if man isn't willing to step up and deal with these vipers, the Living God is, and in case the sheep in AmeriKa have missed the signs let me clue you in to the fact Judgement Day is very near. Praise Yahweh!

  • Nooooooo Preeeesssssss

    Noooooooooo Prreeeeeessssssss

The Press doesn't have to be present or even gather any facts to print a story nowadays. The anger continues to grow, Mr. President.....

  • New from RedBULL Redbull max! Now with only a 10% chance of a heart attack!

  • Someone hide the Scotch and take his car keys!

  • @EndOfTimesProphecy So to sum up, EndOfTimesProphecy is just a little bit insane in the membrane.

  • You sound crazy!

  • buzz851

eat shit asshole obama cult burn in sulfur

  • EndIOfTimesProphecy, you are deeply disturbed.

  • wow...I want whatever coffee he had

  • @bboyneko Starbucks Vanilla Double Shot. I just had some. It's awesome. One unfortunate side effect was that I also started shouting about the press.

  • Great job Mr Kennedy. Great Job.

  • It should be noted that there was a time when the media was on top of the activities of the government. Now the media only operates under corporate, profit-based influence. So the media, which once was respectable, is only driven by ratings.

We have a do-nothing government that is not kept in check by the media, which then allows them to continue to do nothing.

It's nice to see someone in government call out the media, but it's something we all should be doing.

  • as long as people follow the tabloid nature of politics and reject the polcies issues then nothing will change. Too often "the politicans" and the "corporate media" are criticized as the source of our problems. Well, who votes for the politicans and who watches the corporate media.

  • @thequietkid10

I pretty much agree with you.

So I guess my question would then be, how do we get people to stop consuming the tabloid politics? Will there just be one day where the majority of people just wake up and say, 'Hey, Media--this isn't what we really need right now!'?

There use to be integrity in journalism, another check and balance. We used to show our war dead on tv, but that kind of reality tv is too unappealing now.

How do we reverse course when we're currently plummeting?

  • Well I'm just a 20 something who likes to debate on youtube but here are my thoughts.

    1. We ought to admit that we as a population have a problem. My comment above which you pretty much agreed with, has a -1 rating right now. Like the Islamic jihadist, too many people simply want to vilify the mainstream media and the politician without dealing with the question "what makes them who they are?"

  • 2. We can vote with our remotes. I used to be a cable news junkie, and then I started listening to NPR. (the only traditional media in this country that is growing by the way) and supplement it some of the news organizations which strong presences on youtube. Newspapers are dying, Nightly News is dying, and Cable news doesn't reach as many people as they want us to think.

  • Good for him

  • Just as crazy as his father.

  • hmmm sorry didn't really follow it because i was preoccupied by his wig

  • he isn't a muslim neither are his kids. and what does being a muslim have to do with anything?

  • the dutch queen played a dice game with queensday and threw triple 6. Nobody seems to care that she has the mark of the beast...yet alone anyone that draws 6 's in a card game. any one could be a the "infamous"mark of the beast. Didn't everyone claim that the bush presidents where the mark of the beast? It seems to shift every time there is a presidential election

  • robinvan19

the top world scientists have made lists of the occurrency of 666 in the world

in card games it's happened fifty trillion times, and also 50 000 that many times in other places

the only ONE TIME it means anything's when the world's most powerful man becomes the world's head

what that means for our time-period's the US president's election time or when he's announced so

This occurence of 666 destroyed Obama and we must just reveal it

  • right well that is a stupid assumption. You expect it someone with political power be the most destructive. It could also be a holy man like the pope through religion or a corporation... you just sucking stuff out of your thumb and make thing as you go. Besides you just confirmed that it you think it is every US president. that makes your predictions kinda faulty everytime a president is elected

  • robinvan

    no

it has to be the POTUS and 666 both 2

  • @ EndOfTimesProphecy You have the intellect of a sponge mop. With over 85% of the worlds scientist being atheist- your statement is as uninformed as your political ideology and blind faith. Confirming your mental incompetence-- you should not be allowed to use a fork unsupervised.

  • muslims don't drink anyway, its forbidden for them

  • interesting how drinking is not ok but killing innocent ppl is ok. and i know not all muslims kill ppl so back off anticipating i dont know the karan

  • Racist piece of shit...

  • actually I think he is a baptist.but thats just as bad I guess

  • Is it wrong to break out like that... yeah, it isn't very professional. but you know what, he's right. Yeah, the press is out of line, get mad? Sure, but I don't think that was good timing... however; I'd shout "Right on!" to this man. He's truly concerned and I'd say that kind of life and action needs to be back in congress. Speak out if you have a point, scream if they're hard of hearing.

  • Amen! A democrat gets it right.

  • Boohoo. Cry about poor bush getting his feelings hurt more. This rant is well deserved. The media needs to spend a lot more time on substantive issues.

As for sending more troops to Afghanistan, bush never tried to do that. He ramped up IRAQ. You know, the war that has nothing to do with 9/11?

That still doesnt excuse lack of coverage on the most important resource our country has: the lives of our young service men and women who are STILL dying for essentially nation building.

  • I'm sending this guy some cash. I don't have much, but this one gets MY nickel.

  • He's given up. Not seeking reelection.

  • I was just reading about that, thanks.

    Yeah, I like that guy.

  • Fuck Fox, fuck MSNBC, and fuck CNN. They are dumbing down the nation. They failed us on the Iraq war and they failed us on health care.

  • No, fuckface, we should have never gone to Iraq in the first place.

  • God damnit he is right. Fuck our media.

  • That guy seems pretty angry, and he is absolutely fucking right

  • Kennedy is absolutely right!!!! The media can spend hours on Massa's scandal, a flying balloon and so much more nonsense but when congress is deciding on an issue that affects the thousands of our brave men and women fighting in Afghanistan, they are nowhere to be seen!!! The media today is a shadow of what it once was. It certainly is despicable.

  • @ugboy1 The men and women are dispensable. War mongers are making billions from the wars. Bottom line? It's the american people that let this happen not the media.

  • why does he step down when the world needs a Kennedy

  • i just stood and applauded.

    Despicable.

    whats the scoop.

    war?

oh come on thats no fun

    gay scandal.

    yak yak yak yak yak

    FUCK YOU.

  • @schizoreyna He's passionate, retard.

  • He's absolutely right.

  • mass media is a bit of a joke they do focus on scandals more than anything else because it's sensationalism and that's what sells advertising space and newspapers. how often do you see a politician being interviewed by a reporter being asked a real question or a tough question? very rarely. real newsmen like walter cronkite or eward murrow are spinning in thier graves....

  • lol "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take this anymore!"

  • +1 million dead american soldiers' thumbs up

  • As citizens we don't have to pay attention to the blathering stupid cable "news". I had to look up who & what Kennedy was ranting on about because was clueless.

Yes, news folks... cover something useful! Glad someone is yelling at them to do a better job!

  • Of course... Kennedy ranting isn't "news" either. Sigh!

  • not his fucking job

  • @awerner2007 What job? Isn't standing up and grand standing what a politician does?

  • whoops my bad read your comment completely wrong... moving on then.

  • amen... no matter what you think of his politics, he is f&*king right

  • JFK RFK MLK Malcolm

    Oath Keepers

    Vietnam Vets

  • who owns the press?

    Secede

  • go get em.

  • more please!!!

  • Drama queen.

Why didn't he do that when the dems didn't allow CSPAN or any other media into their close door meetings on the HC bill?

Phony outrage from another politician... next!

  • Agreed

  • Not phony. I believe it. Maybe exaggerated, but I believe his sincerity.

Regardless of whether he is telling the truth or not, he is telling the truth. Afghanistan is the most important national issue and it isn't being covered. Forget politics for a second and rationalize what he's saying. I think his claims, while perhaps dramatic, are important.

  • It's AN issue for Americans. a MASSIVE issue for pakistani's & THE issue for Afghani's.

Is this war having much affect on 300 millon Americans? Or the world's 6 Billon humans as a whole.

    No.

Don't just nod you head because he's a democrat. I like when comedians rant, and I like when rants are accurate.

    I like my politicians govern.

  • I'm not nodding my head because he's a democrat. I'm nodding my head because I think he's got a good point.

Look at it this way, even if you don't think that it is the biggest issue in America, don't you think it deserves more media attention than its getting. I mean, Afghanistan is worthy of more attention than Massa isn't it? Or do you disagree with this as well? I respect your opinion either way, this might just be a fundamental different between you and I.

  • Good points... I do watch a lot of news coverage, but the MSM is definitely distracted by some very idiotic things... but honestly... what's new?

I remember when ever news outlet carried Paris Hilton's arrest LIVE... FFS, that's the kind of thing that gets ratings these days... sadly.

  • Woo reprisentin' Rhode Island ;D

  • Congress is only in session about 3 or 4 days/month so the press wont waste its time sending reporters to hang around. The real action is off stage where the back door deals are cut with big corporations. Unfortunately, the Press will never learn about those.

  • I don't know why not. All they have to do is walk across the street to the restaurants surrounding the hill and they'll see the "business" of govt in action.

Also, if little tiny organizations like SNOPES and SOURCEWATCH can keep track of all of these lobby deals, the pathetic, slack-assed, self-absorbed, mainstream INFOTAINMENT media has absolutely no excuse.

Wolf Blitzer combs more money out of his beard every day than SOURCEWATCH spends in a whole year, yet...no real reporting.

  • great job rep.patrick kennedy

  • WIN

  • It's a market economy. The people get what they want. And they want bullshit on Massa.

Aren't we just scapegoating the media here. They can't force people what to watch or care. And it's not as if the information isn't out there. It's everywhere.

Is this really an issue for people anyhow?

500 American soldiers died last year.

40,000 citizens died in road accidents.

The point I'm trying to make is; I like to rant too.

  • Yes, it is an issue. According to your statistics 40,5000 lives were lost. 500 of them were American who gave their life for American interests, and 40,000 whose death could of been prevented by higher safety standards on our roads. So wear your seatbelt, don't drink and drive, and don't speed, and thank those who serve us.

  • @jimwal2008

Eh, people base their opinions and desires on what the media tells them. Put a McDonald's commercial on during the right show at the right time, and millions of Americans will suddenly feel the urge to go to the Drive Through. Run a short segment claiming there may be some health benefits to drinking wine, and you'll see wine sales bulge.

Sure, coverage is based around what people want (actually, what's most profitable) but it's not the one-way street it's made out to be.

  • Hey, I totally agree. It's a 2 way street. Our opinions influence media & media influence our opinions. But try not to be so easy, the Democrats are in damage control mode because of the Messa story. And that's the dynamic driving this gentleman's rant today.

He's in a position to actually change things. I'm not going to high five him, for giving a generic 5 minute rant today, not when he's just going to carry on happily with the status quo next week.

  • Anyway, the public could spend 8 hours a day watching congress debates, wouldn't make them anymore informed. Congress is melodramy - just with bad acting.

  • With all due respect you have no idea of his actual views, you have no basis for your claims other than national cynicism towards politicans. Many of them actually are trying to make a difference, Damage control or no he is correct about the media and about the american peoples caring more about drama then about the war.

  • Right, and my point is, this is not him trying to make a difference, it's him politicking to create a diversion.

Who ever sings his praises for that is just as big a fool as there is.

And as I said, his rants not even accurate.

  • My point is you have no basis to say he isnt trying to make a difference, you just assume so

  • My point is that your point on my point is not valid. And it's a valid point! :)

  • lol ok

  • BRAVO

Media Prostitutes. ~ nader paul kucinich gravel mckinney

  • brings tears to my eyes.....because he is correct

  • WORD!!

  • We need more of what Kennedy did, he's late in getting it on but he did great, keep it up, maybe the slugs in the media and several who have posted here will wake up.

  • see....congress makes everyone insane

abolish the congress and make me king

    ill fix all the problems
