Do you have emergency meds for when your seizures last that long? Also i was on keppra a while back, my seizures went of the scale and my temper was rediculous and ended up being addmitted for toxic psychosis...yeah kepra...wudnt recomend it!

Has anyone talked to you about the drug Amitriptyline? I play a CD all night long that helps me sleep. I bought it on ebay. It's called White Noise. It really works great! I'm sooo sorry you're going through this. You're right.. it's not fair. I'll keep you in my thoughts...
we have a small fridge in our room and i sleep with a fan on, that is about the only white noise i can handle and it does help. we burn oils before bed, lavender, vanilla, peppermint. things like that, and they also help with sleep i've heard of taking meloitonin, but i've never personally tried it. i seem to be sleeping better on the two medications that i was originally given for sleep. I'll look into and ask about the drug. thanks for the advice.
Hi Gina,have tried the white noise and it does help for a while,then back to the start. I'm taking so many drugs that are claseed as narcotics and need government authority for the 'scripts.What annoys me is that my doc has just today told me(and I'm on the highest legal dosage) that these are only keeping me normal/not withdrawing but are doing little else! Mate it's fucking frustrating and they say well ya cant stop,it's been25 yrs..Fuck I wanna stop!<3ya&Carrie Glee. xx
I've wanted to change my seizure meds for years (Dilantin) cos it's an old drug,but they say no you're stable so they wont do it.I've been toxic so many times on this stuff,walking into walls!Hope you guys BOTH get the hot tub! :)
btw by stable they mean I haven't had a seizure,but I hate this drug and it makes me feel like shit! Have been taking oxazepam and codeine as well,and I think they control the seizures,I dunno,but I sleep a lot and when awake I talk alot(I fly off the handle too!) Peace!
medications are always a double edged sward and i hate that you can't get off the medication to find out what's really working. hope you can find some relief soon.
i'd suggest the hot tub, and i know just the one. it's down in flordia but i'm sure we can get one just like it delivered here. must ask Wizard about hot tub therapy prescription and one for massage.

i was on entex for my allergies and it made have bad muscle spasms almost like a seizure. I couldnt breathe and broke out in ahead to toe rash.
