  • DON'T MOVE TO MONTANA PEOPLE. we have this nasty sickness that is really thriving up here. It's uh deadly. And the uh lakes are dry and gross and the winters will kill you and the bears and mountain lions. Just go to Texas and Cali. Or Utah. So much better

Ps. If none of that gets you I can't promise that the native Montanans won't kill the Cali transplants or any transplants for that matter.

  • @2012DjSketch, not hard to believe being I'm also from montana! My friend who is 17 years old has a dozen rifles, a couple shotguns and at least six handguns I know of.

  • Can someone help me get a job in Montana?

  • I live in Montana so let me warn all you viewers who want to move here. If the freezing winters don't kill you a mountain lion, grizzly bear, or drunk driver probably will. Don't move here!!! Go to Texas.

  • montana without guns is like cake without frosting. just aint right.....

  • I live in Butte. this is my personal arsenal. (no joke)

    2 Colt .45

    2. Remington 1100

  • Montana is beautiful country.

  • Montana is the best state to live in. not just for hunting but for hiking, swimming, biking, camping, rafting, and just to live in.

  • well you gotta have a gun if you live in Montana it so remote here pluse the wildlife man i love montana but i hate the winters here hahaha

  • Yea Man! .....I love Montana! Beautiful country, great lifestyle and great people!

  • Hell Yeahh!

  • Gotta love Montana.

  • so many guns in montanta and algizira is allowed in? WTF

  • Interesting. Not very accurate but interesting. Other than during hunting season and/or hunting rifles you do not see many firearms. Very rarely do you see an assault rifle. People here do not carry gund everywhere and this is not the wild west. They are just hunting tools to most people here. Which is just fine.

  • ok i want to live in Montana

ya for the second amendment that politics don't know and will never under stand

  • "in the northwestern us state of montana, their are alot of guns". lol

  • 2:01

    Dat Anschütz

  • Why are the Muslims checking out Montana? Honestly, I chuckled when I noticed that this was a report by Al Jazeera.

  • @rtgoodson Al Jazeera is a news organization, not affiliated with any religion. They happen to provide the most accurate and unbiased news in the world too. Weird, that.

  • In God's country the taxes are low and so is the crime, people are kind but always on guard for the cruel and the wicked. I think it's safe to say that Montana, if not God's country, is probably his preferred vacation spot. One day I might move to Montana, my only complaint is the depressingly cold winters.

  • You are right its is very dangerous there, all of you should stay away!!! Dont buy a second home or a ranch there, dont move there !!!

  • i know where im gonna live.

  • In the Next year i am moving out off illinois and i think i might pick montana to live in but my mom wants to move to Arizona or Flordia. Its going to be a HARD Choice but i am 18 going on 19 may 29 so in a year ill be 20. That means i can move where ever i want.

  • its true.. montana has a shitload of guns. iam 17 and ive bought guns myself becuz a lack of gun laws. or strict laws.. you are supposed to be 18 for rifle ammunation and 21 for pistol ammunation but i can walk in any gun store and buy both no questions asked..

  • People live in Montana?

  • my kind of people way to go Montana fight the good fight

  • this video sucks because I would have made a cup out of the dumb kid's cranium and a bleeder on the fat bastard father with a walther.

  • I believe that people think guns are bad because of idiots and rednecks like Sarah Palin who give others reasons to presume stereotypes

(Im aware i will get trashed for this) I don't give a shit I personally find guns unnecessary because i am trained to fight in hand to hand combat and a fist is more accurate than a rifle (for me) But i like to see that people still realize their rights

  • I love Kalispell, Montana and I will practice

on the firing range this summer. They are the

nicest fellow Americans.I maymove there one day.

  • bunch of hillbilly faggots, inbreed faggits

  • @8317rob

"bunch of hillbilly faggots, inbreed faggits"

-First of all, you can't spell.

-Second of all, your grammar is atrocious.

-Thrid of all, why are they hillbillies? Because they go outside? Because there's wilderness in their area? Because they believe in the right of self-defense? I don't know why you think they're hillbillies, because to me, they look nothing like hillbillies. To me, they look like very well-rounded people, who live a comfortable, civilized, and well-defended life.

  • @bjpw1234 oook fucking grammer police

  • @8317rob Grammar* and yeah, nice comeback.

  • The freedom to defend yourself is the second most valuable right... right after the one to live...

  • I use to be into guns--then I grew up.

Maybe it was all the handling in the Army I had that exhausted the interest. I knew I had finally grew out of it the first time I turned down firing a 0.50 cal on the range.

  • @WAKeele Having shot competition IM here to say that being "mlitary trained" with firearms is basic at best, nothing to brag about on any level, with the exception of your special forces, btw, shotting a 50 is nothing special.

  • @WAKeele Yes, it becomes like a job, but you have to hit the range at least once a week to keep up your skills. It's like working out, you "exhaust your interest" but you still have to keep doing it to take full advantage of it.

  • Guns are stupid.

  • GO MONTANA!!! I think if the country went to war and every state was for itself, montana would kick some ass!

  • im so glad i live here

  • That's strange that Al-Jazeerah did a report in MT. Anyway, love the gun laws in MT, so laid back.

  • @incheonlazerhead Al-jazeerah is trying to become a reputable world news agency and doing a decent job, having followed it since its early "english" days when it was pretty biased to say the least.

  • so let me get this right an Arab news agency is covering this? LMAO!

  • @Vire70 & Yellowjuju- As a Montana native, I believe in our gun rights, HOWEVER that type of language is uncalled for (f****** and q*****). That word is highly offensive, and if you continue to use language such as that, I can assure you that any point you are trying to make will fall on deaf ears to many.

That being said, Montana is the GREATEST state to live in! Where we know that our rights as ALL AMERICANS are protected REGARDLESS of what these brainless nitwits make it sound like.

  • I'm so confused.... this is a seemingly pro-gun segment on Americans by.... AL JAZEERA???

  • i live in montana and i am not kidding, i am 12 and everyone hunts! if someone doesn't hunt they are not cool then

  • i live in montana and i am 12 years old and i am not kidding everyone hunts, i hunt with archery, but still i hunt!

  • Why i love montana. KEEP OUT LIBERAL QUEERS AND HIPPIE DIRTBAGS. You're not welcome.

  • @yellowjuju lol what world are we living in? Too much morons like you. Stupid/immature people like you bunch of squareheads...

  • Its true. I live in whitefish MT, and i almost never lock my doors in my house. I have hunting rifles and a couple different cal. handguns. People around here just know not to break into someones home, because there is a 90% chance that they are armed as well. Our motto….”an armed man is a citizen, and unarmed man is a subject” I have never, ever had to use it thank God. Just educate yourself about guns, they are a good thing in the right hands

  • Its true. I live in whitefish MT, and i almost never lock my doors in my house. I have hunting rifles and a couple different cal. handguns. • Wise people wielding firearms. Go Montana!

  • Guns are only bad when muslims have them.... Yee-har.

God bless the States of Americer

  • M-O-N-T-A-N-A...Montana i love you!

  • M-O-N-T-A-N-A i love you!

  • Thats the way it should be everywhere.

  • We have lots of guns in S and W Chicago . Please come and visit us . It is very safe I promise ;)

  • wow a state that doesnt suck

  • People always arguing that having guns reduces crimes... but that's not what the statistics say, not to mention gun-related accidents.

  • @Vire70 , Well statistics are taken by liberal faggots!!!What about accidents that not having a gun could of fixed? I can`t stand people that are against guns.. It is a tool that is a must in our world.. Guns make it a better place without a doubt..

  • @MrAngelmann

What type of accidents are those? I live in Australia... we don't have guns. and I can't think of a single situation in my entire life which one would have been necessary.

You can continue to parrot the view that guns are great, but until you can come up with an actual reason for them being so your opinion means jackshit to me.

  • @Vire70 I live in Montana, and I own one gun. It's a hunting rifle. Guns are great for making DINNER. Unless your a vegetarian, guns killed your dinner too. Its clean, humane, and MrAngelmann probably can't give any reason to have a gun, but I can.

  • @Rocketroyale555

That's fine if you hunt for your food. The majority of people who own guns however, do not. So your reason isn't really valid. Guns are allowed here for purposes similar to that, just not for general use.

  • @Vire70 Most people hunt for food in Montana. I'm sure that Australia has more guns though. I recall an incident where a armed madman entered a cafe in Texas and opened fire. If any one of the thirty sane people in that cafe was carrying a weapon, they would have smoked that piss-ant saving countless lives.

  • @Vire70 To put it in perspective, A 410 shotgun shell in a capable revolver can blow one of those Aussie vipers, I keep hearing about to hell. I'm very surprised to hear that people, especially farmers, don't carry a Taurus Judge or Bond Arms Snake Slayer for that purpose. Like Oz, Montana is a dangerous place. We have very little violent crime, but it is very easy to die here from natural things like bears, moose, mountain lines, not to mention hypothermia or drunk drivers.

  • @theJdoggIMS montana is not a violent place and i live outside of dillon montana and i bet we have atleast 20 guns or more and to let you know this is coming from a 12 year old that knows everything about a gun i hunt like every other person in montana we dont have gangs and i shoot guns all the time nothing wrong with it ive been tought how to use a gun and how not to use guns ask anybody that lives in montana what were like

  • @bigalis11 I'm from missoula and I grew up with guns too. I got nothing against guns. I was stating my surprise that Aussies don't have more guns with all the deadly snakes around. I agree that we aren't generally violent, but our state can be quite dangerous, especially to people who are unprepared for the worst. We have one of the highest highway mortality rates in the US and our alcohol abuse is horrible.

  • @Vire70 Okay, , i'm sorry to beat a dead horse, BUT in the USA, we were given the right to bear arms NOT to hunt, but to defend ourselves in case a government becomes tyrannical. you see, after our revolutionary war we had just won our freedom by the means of violent force from a tyrannical king. If the citizens of Poland had been well armed would they have been taken over by Germany in 1939?

  • @TexasDistortion

If they had had guns then more of them would have died. You can't seriously expect us to believe a bunch of civilians with shotguns are going to stop a trained army with proper equipment. The same is true of any potential future USA rebellion, it will merely wind up with a whole lot of unnecessary bloodshed. One would think in this day & age people would learn a little diplomacy instead of beating their fists on their chests and screaming a battle cry like a bunch of gorillas.

  • @Vire70 Thats because your a pussy and will bend over and spread when they try to take your freedoms. And were nor armed with just shotguns. i was trained by the government and i train everyone i meet.

  • @TexasDistortion

No, it's because I'm not an imbecilic barbarian. Conflicts could be solved with diplomacy if there weren't so many people like you who shoot a gun at the slightest provocation. It's just too bad we can't take all of you, dump you in a time machine and send you straight back to the stone ages; you'd fit right in.

  • @Vire70 awww dont mad, just because you have no freedoms in your shitty country, doesnt give you the right to take your anger our on other people. get that sand out of your vagina.

  • @TexasDistortion

No freedoms? Australia has just as much freedom as the U.S, perhaps even more. The days of America being the 'land of the free' ceased to be unique or unusual quite a while ago.

  • @Vire70 Yes, i spent some time there while in the military. Trust me. You don't know what your missing.

  • @Vire70 "If they had had guns then more of them would have died."

Yes, because that makes complete and total sense...

And we can have much more than shotguns. Hell, we could have full-autos if we've got the cash.

  • @bjpw1234

Yes, because people with guns shooting at the military get shot. People without guns not so much.

Do you really think a bunch of civilians is going to take out the military because they have a few pistols, shotguns, etc? Asides from your very rare gun-collector, no one is going to have anywhere near the amount of fire power as the military and this is especially true of the USA who spends more $ per year on their military than all other nations in the world combined.

  • @Vire70 I'm pretty sure the Nazis gunned down everybody in a blitzkrieg, armed or not. Nice try though. And it doesn't matter how well equipped an army is. Superior tactics will always beat superior equipment. Why do you think the "invincible" U.S. lost in Vietnam to a bunch of farmers? Guerilla tactics, that's why. And the point of a guerrilla war isn't to the wipe out the other army, it's to harass them to the breaking point, then strike the heart of the enemy. Read some history.

  • @bjpw1234

Well actually they didn't. They gunned down the people fighting back - and there certainly was resistance in Poland when the Nazi's invaded. Which is exactly why so many of them died.

You people are just deluded by your bias in favor of guns to the point you can't even see basic logic. Giving untrained civilians guns = more death, when versus the military. It means more death on the military side and more death on the civilian side. No one wins.

    Vietnam was a different situation.

  • @Vire70 We are not deluded by our "bias" in favor of firearms. We just think logically. Everybody deserves the right to defend themselves. Governments corrupt. It's a natural occurance. Therefore, when a government becomes absolutely corrupt, words can no longer win liberties. And hypothetically, EVEN IF your logic was correct, I'd rather die defending my personal liberty than bend over and take it every time the corrupt politicians tell me to. But that's just me.

  • @Vire70 And additionally, there are many instances where civilians beat the military. Don't underestimate the power of people. Vietnam, American revolution, French Revolution, Russian revolution, Texas revolution, and so on.

"The most foolish mistake we could possibly make would be to allow the subject races to possess arms. History shows that all conquerors who have allowed their subject races to carry arms have prepared their own downfall by so doing."

    -- Adolf Hitler

  • @Vire70 you might want to ask yourself how did we get this country?and if you think well that was a long time ago you cant beat a modern military. take a look at Afghanistan is that close enough for you. and just how many US troops would fight for the civilian side im thinking a whole lot.never underestimate the will of the gun owner because most are die hard Patriots and love what this country once stood for

  • @O7ROADKING

Patriotism is a tool of government segregation. You Americans are all deluded by your own propaganda.

Anyway, Good luck if you ever do have a revolution. I certainly won't be crying when you're all slaughtered like cattle - just like you don't cry when your own military already does it to other countries.

  • @Vire70 Quite simply, you are a fool. Case closed.

  • @bjpw1234

Classic case of no rational reasons for objection, so insult instead. What an intellectual champion you are, lmao.

  • @Vire70 No, I insulted you and called you a fool because that is what you are. I've already presented to you my "rational reasons for objection". You repeatedly rejected all logical arguments to your biased views. You can't admit the fact that people should be allowed to defend themselves. You'd rather bend over and take it whenever the masters say so. You are a coward and a fool. Deal with it.

  • @bjpw1234

Lol, keep telling yourself that while America has some of the highest crime rates and highest gun accidents in the world. But I know better than to expect something like facts to influence people like you. It's rich talking to me about bias... Americans know nothing but bias. Your entire media is a bias-inducing propaganda machine.

  • @Vire70 You imply that I listen propaganda, yet I'm one of the people in my country who doesn't trust the government or the media because of the lies they spread. They are all corrupt and evil, which is why they try and take away our rights more and more everyday. And if you were anything more than a brainwashed sheep, you'd know that the crime rate in America stems from inner-city scumbags with illegal guns who are poor because we are in a shit economy right now due to our terrible government.

  • @Vire70 And secondly, I own a rifle. I plan on buying more. Does this mean I plan on going out and murdering twenty people? No, it doesn't. I keep the rifle in my room. Has the weapon ever sprung to life and tried to kill me in my sleep, or ever tried to kill anybody for that matter? No, it hasn't. Explain that, genius.

  • @Vire70 And THIRDLY (You should probably read the last two replies I made to you) please explain to me why the state of Montana in this video, which has some of the LOOSEST gun laws by the way, has one of the lowest violent crime rates in the country?

  • @bjpw1234

Maybe because half of their population dies first from gun accidents?

Lol, no, whatever. I really don't care that much at this stage. If you want to use guns go ahead. I still don't think it's any sort of defense against a trained military though, and I think you're deluded if you think otherwise.

  • @Vire70 Don't underestimate the power of guerrilla tactics. But I agree, let's just stop here, because I'm tired of arguing.

  • @MrAngelmann

Thing is, so many people against firearms argue that because *they* don't need them, no one does. By that same argument, I should say that *they* don't need alcohol, because I've never seen a need for drinking it. If we took away freedoms just because some perceive them as not being needed, then we would end up like totalitarian countries where no freedom is allowed.

Just because *you* don't want something doesn't mean you have the right to take it away from me, and vice-versa.

  • @MrAngelmann Hey fuck you, shitmouth! I'm one of those "liberal faggots" and I love guns! maybe if you didn't run your mouth like that, spent less time playing cawwadooty , and more time trying to take people who are afraid of guns to the range, you'd be making allies instead of scaring people off with your yosemite sam internet tough guy act.

  • Fuck I'm going to go live in Montana

  • Can't wait to go to Montana. I'll come to a gun shop and with a loaded handgun and shoot all the customers and owners and claim innocence for it!

  • @GKJK999 Are you insane? Most Montana gun shop owners have their handguns in open carry on their waists, i bet you will get into the doors and won't be able to fire one round without being shot first.

  • @Ma77hew , that is true.. I tryed to cap some ass, you know being from cali and all.. I got killed pretty fucking fast... fuck they don`t mess around in Montana... If you come to my state, be prepared for a reality check!!!!!

  • @MrAngelmann Well let me tell you, I am born and raised in California, southern California, in fact, LA county. I come down to visit every few months, and I moved away because of all the laws, there isn't much freedom in Cali, I had to leave, and I am sure others would leave if they had the chance.

  • @Ma77hew , Yeah that is what`s so sad.. the more laws they make down there to protect the criminals, the more problems they have with them...Anytime the gov takes our right to bare arms, then it takes our rights to defend ourselves too...

  • @MrAngelmann yeah, thats one of the reasons why i moved, the lifestyle there is too hectic and stressful... when i came back down to visit, i almost had a panic attack driving on the freeways! If you get a chance to move on day, go for it, some good choices are Arizona, Nevada, Idaho, Utah, and Montana.... Texas if you can bare the humidity.

  • @Ma77hew , I hear you man. That is a good reason to never go back if you can help it..It is two world`s, that are completely opposite of each other. I moved from Texas ( Dallas, Fortworth) to Montana 11 years ago, and never looked back. I would not trade it for anything... Love the freedom here; and everything else. I think the AZ is a great state too...Just too hot..lol..Take care man...

  • @MrAngelmann Yes, thats a big reason I moved, here... Which city are u in? Its unfortunate that I am in the most liberal city in the state (try and guess lol) but its still more free than California.

  • @Ma77hew , I live in Libby. The northwestern part; In the Kootenai Forest Region. If I had to guess, I`d say you live in Missoula? College town. The younger generation seems to support more liberal/ democratic idea`s there... But yes, it is still 10 times the freedom than in Cali.

  • @MrAngelmann ahh, yep i am in Missoula (can't escape those smug prius drivers) but it's still way more free. Well its been nice talking. Take care.

  • @Ma77hew , Yes, lol.... nice talking.. take care man..

  • @Ma77hew Well if their reaction is fast enough. They'll probably get shot first as I have super skills! Plus, there is a law where they have to conceal carry anyways.

  • @GKJK999 No, since a gun shop is private property, they can do whatever they want, open carry usually with loaded handguns... so I still don't understand why you want to go into a gun shop here and murder people.

  • Imagine the kid at 1:20 pointing the pistol in the other direction LOL.

  • I love my Montana so much! Currently in Utah and let me tell you it sucks here! Caint wait to move back!

  • too bad after another few years of obama they wont have guns anymore

  • I love America! This IS the Greatest Place on Earth and everyone else talks shit because they are hating on it.

  • o yeah give a fukin 10 year old the right 2 bare arms but a 30 year old smoking weed because of a health condition makes him a criminal??... thats fuked

  • @triggz416 A 10 year old has no right to bare arms what so ever. Show me the laws that says a 10 year old can purchase and own a gun.

  • @Ma77hew , They shouldn`t be playing baseball, skateboarding, walking to school, swimming, and etc.....Do you see my point? There is a way to do things and there is a way not to...Accidents have and will always happen, no matter the worthless law, and how careful you are...

  • @MrAngelmann Sure accidents happen, accidents also happen in baseball, skateboarding, walking to school, swimming, and etc.... So statistically it isn't more dangerous than any other activity, as long as a kid has a responsible adult to watch over them and teach them, there isn't a problem.

  • @Ma77hew , right, I agree....We can teach our children the best we can, but still ..accidents happen....guns are no different.. they can be dangerous just like the rest...ya know...?

  • @MrAngelmann especially gun cleaning. There have been cases where children have been misshot.

  • @GKJK999 , Yeah I agree. Even Adults have accidents. Just like cleaning a knife too.

  • KEEP IT UP MONTANA!!!

  • @gsycf parth of the reason im moving there

  • I'm moving. Thats it.

  • I love Montana. I was there last month. My direct American ancestors fought and beat the British over 2 centuries ago for the right to arm and protect person and property. In this State where I leave they have banned all but squirt guns, and there's a ballot initiative for those too. It's unacceptable. Feinstein, Boxer and Pellosi have gone too far. Oh - and there's a reason why the USAF "accidentally" bombed Al Jazeera's HQ in Baghdad during the opening salvos of Iraqi Freedom.

  • No Black People soo no Gangs

  • @H3CZA Your a fucking idiot! There are gangs in montana just not to big or organized mostly in billings, and guess what some are white you fuck tard!

  • My kind of state. MONTANA OH YEAH!

  • It`s good to see that you guys worked things out. Montana is the best state I have ever lived in. I love the freedom that cannot be discribed in words. Guns are only one part of the great things about Montana.

  • I FUCKING HATE NEW YORK STATE

  • OK I'm sorry too! Really! I love Montana and I love Guns. Cars too. Really I am sorry for my rude comments.

  • Glad that they appear to be making sure to train in use of their guns. Does make sense that criminals aren't going to see them as sitting ducks, so probably better they criminals head to Chicago.

  • montana is great.. they have their shit together.. i am gald. the way the government and people are getting in this country they will need the guns one day.. montana people are good people.

  • dude i live in CA and it SUCKS i cant wait till i grow up and i can live there

  • @TheOutdoorsman109 agreed man. i'm in the same boat as you. except i live on the complete opposite coast as you: CONNECTICUT. i hate it here. i can't wait to move, most likely to Montana. Montana's a gun state, and it has some of the greatest wilderness in the country.

  • lol my name is Montana..just thought I'd share

  • someone who lives in montana can yu give me an answer, how old do you have to be to buy a handgun up their.

  • @rookieangel88 You have to be at least 21

  • @rookieangel88 Just tall enough to reach the counter.

  • @ohohmrbill1 thats what i like to hear

  • @rookieangel88 haha like 4...no haha probably like 18

  • and btw, @mlbirdinground Before you make 1 more damn comment without a damn bit of knowledge know this: Firearms will always be around, no matter how much you anti-gun, scared crappless, little cowards are. Fine Make all guns Illeagal, see if that stops the guy at 3 am from using his stolen/black market .22 pistol to Rob you the shoot you in cold blood. Personally.. I say this to you.. Ill even tell you where I live... Come take my damn guns from me, do it at 3 am!

BTW do you eat meat? hmmmm

  • Damn right!

  • Montana is for the fucking win.

  • Go Montana!!!

  • I love Montana. They got it right.

  • I've lived in Montana my whole life, from small town Clyde Park to Billings, and as far as I've seen, guns are treated respectfully here for the most part. Guns are for hunting, and children are learned to respect a gun and treat it carefully. Seeing this video makes me proud to live here =)

  • those towns are full of racist losers.

  • @cagonesss I live in Montana jack ass. Were just as politically correct as any other state.

  • @BOOBOO3976 political well ,possible, but correct naw

  • @Mopar68Sharpshooter Right......all we had were spears, bows, and arrows. We couldn't defend against all your guns. Now look what has happened, all cause of your guns. You white people are always on a POWER TRIP. Without guns....who are you? You can't hunt, you can't fight, and you can't force people do do your work or force them out of their homeland.
