  • i love this video its the closest thing to a btbam guitar lesson that i can find. how he comes up with some of this stuff is beyond me

  • yeah nc baby! something we sure can be proud of!

  • the drummer in the video is Mark Castillo, the current drummer from Bury Your Dead. he recorded drums on The Silent Circus.

  • whos that on drums? thats not blake

  • @ShroomSamich yea at this era the only ppl in btbam now in the line up in this vid were tommy and paul

  • @ShroomSamich its mark castillo. Blake didn't join until 2005 when they made Alaska

  • i didnt realize how epic the triplets at "ice for these cramped hands" are

  • that was so amazing

  • 1:35 <33333333

  • metal guitarists are so much cooler with short hair

  • @LeperAffinity that hair is still considered long though

  • I thought dusty was on drums when I looked at it first thing haha kinda looked like him bu nahh

  • I thought dusty was the only drummer?

  • LOL!!!!!

  • @Martyr8250 You thought wrong, they had 2 other besides him, one for their self titled record, and another on The Silent Circus. And Dusite's the rhythm guitarist, Blake is their drummer.

  • @Martyr8250 uhhhh

  • its rediculous how Paul hits every single one of those squeals

  • the trills at 1:17 are the most insane to me. It's so not necessary.

  • this is fucking sick. destructo spin is my number 2 off of Silent Circus.

  • Paul is an unstoppable beast! Look at him go!

  • 1:52 epic.

  • this is when they didnt have dustie or dan :(

  • Back in my day, trolling meant something

  • i replay 1:35 so many times when I listen to this awesome jam.

  • lol he looks like he's jacking off at 1:22. sick video tho

  • you jack off fucking weird then

  • it was a joke my dude lol. chill out. this guy is one of my favorite guitarists of all time

  • hes ok, i prefer SRV but its all a matter of opinion

  • Stevie's pretty good but I like heavier music

  • so do i usually but theres somat about blues that always gets me goin

  • dude stevie plays a different style man.

  • i know but as much as i like this neo-classic stuff i cant listen to it very much but i can spend days listenin to nuttin but Stevie and BB king and all that

  • me too but i listen to all kinds of music.

  • my mp3 player is probably one of the only places you'll find DJ Satomi, Slayer and james morrison all in one place

  • well i have btbam, slayer coldplay, counting crows, queen, necrophagist, the red chord, allman brothers jimi hendrix, pantera megadeth, metallica, paul gilbert, steve vai, steve miller band, and lots of other bands all in one mp3

  • thats all still rock and metal oriented. DJ Satomi is rave. i also have a load of J-pop stuff

  • do u even know who steve miller band is or coldplay. i do listen to alot jazz and bluegrass. the bands i listed r different kinds of styles.

  • yeah i know but its all loosely rock. very little is computerised. DJ Satomi is totally computer recorded stuff on likes of Garage band

  • well at least the music i listen require more skill and it really comes from u and not a bunch of computers. bluegrass, soundscapes, easy listening r now where near rock or metal.

  • i listen to music that sounds good, not because it takes skill. thats why i dont like As Blood Runs Black, because despite amazing guitarists and bassists it just sounds shit because of the vocals and drumming

  • i know i just like bands that sounds good and complex.

  • i dont really care how complex it is, as long as it sounds good. thats just my opinion, i have some friends that only listen to stuff thats insanely fast and complex, its just down to taste

  • well im a musician so i do but im not always about complex though.

  • so am i, but that doesnt stop me.

  • i know its fine i feel the same to sometimes.

  • The vocalist off Allegiance was fucken mean, but yeah the drumming wasn't quite super. So much snare.

  • how the fuck can u call leche from as blood runs black shit? if anything the guitarists aren't that good but leche is an amazing drummer. dont be so narrow minded.

  • he is a great drummer, now that ive listend to them alot more i like the drumming and vocals aswell. i used to feel that it didnt really fit.

  • good!. i do realize though that for certain aspects of music it may take a while for someone to warm up and really appreciate those certain things. happens to me all the time =)

  • it happens to me alot, iron maiden i had to get used to, Protest the Hero. its all good stuff though and i understand how people can love it right off the bat

  • it was like that with Dream Theater for me.

  • same here. its kinda like caviar. an aquired sound if that makes sense.

  • Amazing

  • yes i agree.......... nice screen name btw

  • thanks
