  • where was the landing

  • 747-400

  • Second to none... Extremely powerful

  • the airbus a380 is more powerfull that the 747

  • i always hate taking off from TNCM(st. maarten) there are suck big hills in front of the runway heading down runway niner

  • u mean 27 cause 27 heads tothe mountains.

  • perfectpilot1, maybe actually look at a chart or fly at tncm and then tell me what runway it is. I CAN GARAUNTEE IS THE NEW RUNWAY 10(OLD 09)!

  • yeah but when u take off rwy 10 u head towards rwy 27 which is heading towards the mountains

  • Kai Tak is legendary because the plane should almost take off vertically otherwise it will hit the high rise buildings around the airport.

  • Excellent video. Hong Kong airport is legendary.

  • Excellent vid, but too bad you couldn't get closer to the jet to hear the overpowering sound as the 747 began it's takeoff down the runway. In the description, you describe this Korean air 747 takeoff as being historical. Why was that? I'm anxious to find out.

  • I think he means that it's historical because the old Hong Kong airport is gone, and this video is history from when it used to be an airport! :-)

  • Wow, excellent vid. Never seen it from this angle before!
