I think I met Corky long before he became famous somewhere in SouthEast Portland in the early sixties and that is before the sixties became famous. I'd say it was somewhre around 52nd Ave when I was in grade school of about 1963.

I met him at a country club in Austin Texas when he was filming Saga of the sad cafe, at leaste I think that was what it was called, I was about 17 or so, he was very nice, we rode in his limo...
