  • Bongos!

  • Over the past century rapacious humans have dumped more than one hundred million tons of plastic into our oceans. Plastic feminizes a species and curtails reproduction as well as causing cancer and devastating the food chain. Are we fecking insane yet?

  • i came here for the song lol

  • If we run out of space in the ocean. We can just throw it into space and wait for our future generation to find out what to do when the space is full.

  • Hippies...I would be for the so called "O-zone" bullshit, but your FORCING CHANGE ...that's not the way u do it...I'm going to use plastic.

  • @imdaprince2 i (heart) you.

  • how does it harm the environment? it just sits there and does nothing.

  • @ugotpowned23 ur awesome

  • i dont care, i'll just throw the bottles away, i don't need to recycle... damn hippies

  • a lot of Liberals in here.

And it's probably about either "cute wittle sea critters", or trying to stroke your ego about environmentalism.

But I'm a reasonable man, and I do believe that using less plastic and other materials could help economically. And bottled water is just tap water a large company sells you, for more than Gasoline, and they get it for almost nothing.

Fight the problems of the world today with Logic, not just Emotion.

  • @MurrdurrDerpDerp I assumed bottled water was purified.

  • @GFedFan

Nope, typically many use municipal tap water, because it's been filtered by a municipal system, and those have very strict regulations. Bottled Water, I heard only has one man for all of it's regulation. Just with the FDA, no EPA and such.

Tap water, something that I think needs more credit

  • @xXMOUTHx - Plastic that is recycled is often made into inferior items that will be only used one time and then thrown away immediately. So a plastic water bottle is not getting recycled as another plastic water bottle (which is unlike paper, which can and is recycled to make more paper). And if you throw plastic in your recycling bin, do you really know that it's being recycled? The key is to use less plastic in the first place, not to recycle it.

  • be sure to throw all your drink bottles away with the lids off, and EMPTY...

  • Hmmm, there is a simple arguement in response to this....

if you choose to use plastic, (because believe it or not there are good environmental benefitsof plastics) for the future of the planet - you must ensure that you despose of it correctly

IE: recycle, as most Plastic can have many lives beyond it's original purpose - For example : 8 Plastic Bottles = 1 Fleece Top

  • Say NO to single use plastic - tell @AmeriBev and @BottledH2OBabe you do not want single use plastic bottles.

  • I saw this on Leonardo DiCaprio's site. It's cool that he has a green foundation.

    Great video.

  • I switched to recycling because of this video! So there! Go ocean!!!!!

  • Stupid and fake, a rip-off of the movie "Apocalypse Now". See the real thing.

  • this video is great......

  • Hell yeah!!! We have & need to save the world n____n

  • I'm not buying paper bags sorry

  • @freddythecanine Are you serious? i just can´t believe your stupis comment that you are not going to buy paper bags! I don´t know from what town or cave do you live because seriously can´t you just bring a reusable bag???? bagpack, shopping cart.....it´s not that hard isn´t?????

  • @freddythecanine You can buy and use bags from COTTON. They can be used for many shopping tours. You can wash them if they are dirty and use them again.

Paper is a product of wood, which shouldn't be used in stead of plastic.

    Search for more sustainable solutions.

  • I suddenly feel so motivated to be green now! :D

  • Facepalm to anyone who dislikes this video.

  • @caqish ahh, oh noooo, too much plastics beinng used what am i gonna do? haha i dont care about no plastic overuse, people are more dominant than animals, we need to survive somehow.

  • come check out our video

  • we can all do it...one step at a time!

  • "Every piece of plastic ever made still exists today?" Seriously? I know that it's a no-no but I've thrown plastic into a fire before. I know what they were getting at with that statement (plastic naturally degrading) but someone should have thought that through a little better.

  • @AlexJordan09 Yeah, there are a lot of garbage incinerators that destroy plastic at a great reate, but most of the plastic that we use doesn't go in there. Unfortunately, most biodegradable plastics will stay around for a hundred years instead of a thousand. Or just break into small pieces and get into the food stream, but still be plastic.

  • Great video! I shared it on my facebook. I hope it gets a lot more views.
