Yes; but it is very light ... only 2kg. The stock is lightweight ABS, but still very tough. just paint or cover it and add scope and bipod and it will be heavy enough.
One of our STEALTH videos is about equipment. I use as little as possible. My load bearing kit is a hunters belt kit with poachers pouch. I use a 3ltr camelback. LLCS suit. Sometimes webtex vest in summer months. TM G17 pistol and either a VSR10 or tanaka m40a1. I hope that helps.
You could get a ghillie, but I think most are too encumbering. get a webtex concealment vest as a base and trim it. Or, just use a camel back, add elastics and add foliage to that. Combine it with a good homemade ghillie cap with foliage and you will have a very effective concealment aid.
i just bought a cyma m14 and am planing to turn it into a sniper rifle can anyone recomend some internal upgrade parts like hop up and motor ect... for it im only wanting it to shoot about 400-450 fps
BAR10. Although, I have no experiance of the latest clone since the BAR10. I rate the TM MK23 NBB pistol as the best all round Airsoft gun of all time. Just use green gas and 0.30g pellets and you will be amazed as how silent/accurate it is. It's so much easier to be stealthy using only a silenced pistol, plus it's semi auto for those sticky moments. Easy to crawl with and once you've practiced alot with it, you don't miss many chances. Hope that helps.
@camaroPBman For the $150 price range, I'd say that the Well MB series is great. (I have the MB-01, which, in my opinion, is the best) It's silent as the dead, accurate, and powerful. Sometimes, it even comes with a decent scope.
@camaroPBman to add to phantom's comment, the utg l96 is also a really good rifle, it is bolt action so it is a little more accurate and consistent, always carry a sclinced pistol or m4.... it will save you. Another advantage that spring has is that it is quiet and you cant run out of anything but ammo, but unless you are shooting a LOT during the day/game it shouldn't be a problem to be electric or gas, spring and gas are more powerful/consistent than electric too
Sorry I have not seen the G700 spring rifle. If its a 100% clone of the TM I guess I would get it if there is alot of money to be saved. TM is the best IMO although my BAR10 is pretty good in comparison. Once you fully upgrade then only the outside of the gun is left anyway.... the rest is aftermarket parts.
Yes, we play the hardest games out there. Check out our website for more details (link on our channel). I have played over a dozen games that lasted 5 days.
I think the tanaka system is very nice (I have an m40a1) but main problem is consistancy compared to a VSR based spring rifle. I also think the M24 is heavy compared to my m40a1 or VSR. Keeping things smaller and more lightweight really helps in the field and should always be your aim. The m24 suits large people who need the longer stock positions. Unless you are a big guy, go with something smaller. This is all practical advise if you don't just want a wall hanger. VSR is best.
It is HUNTEERING. yes it uses 6mm Airsoft guns. It is not just regular skirmish, milsim, LarP or any other format of game. Check our channel for more info.
thats funny but to all those people who made airsoft vids about airsoft rifles that were in COD don't call them Berret .50 cal like there are lots of berrets that are .50 caliber and airsoft bb's are 6mm so just call the video barret 6mm. like this video
This video reminds me of when i used to airsoft... we used to go out for 3 days and have a 1-3 day game... we all went into this 50 acre space (owned by friend) and played til last man standing... ohhh the good ol' days
I am looking for a sniper above 400 fps but it has to be very accurate as well and below 200 dollars does anyone know where i can find one like that if so please message me :) good hunting.
im going to buy netting and sew it to my bdu jacket and pants, i also have dyed strips of burlap that im going to attach to the netting and when im done im going to add lots of natural vegetation. I know your idea is probally going to work better but i wanted to try this way first. THX
thanks for responding, but i dont have an existing setup to start adding foliage to. I have an old bdu jacket but i mean how would u apply foliage to it. LIke how would you do that with rubber bands ? THX
On a jacket, you could sew on horizontal strips of elastic (sew it at each end) and stuff them with foliage. Or sew on a scrim net and tie elastic bands onto it.
@johplay449 Bushrag makes an Iron-On patch call Bush Patches you can get them on their website bushrag.com I think its like 10 patches for 7 bucks something like that, but they come in handy when you want to add some nice vegetation
lol, I don't think you understand just how much foliage is being used here. Some of the players in this film, don't even have ghillie suits, other than a basic hat. In some of the clips I use a basic desert camelback and improvised elastics. In other clips I am wearing a bog standard webtex concealment vest (with no garnish).
This film, mainly shows us moving. Watch our other films (look at 6mm Stealth Hunters on the right handside>).
Some times to much camo is a bad thing depending on the terain and colers. The bigest thing is blend in and let your camo take shape with the surounding area that takes the human shape out as well and you wont be seen as long as you dont move and nobudy trips over you.
That actuly looks fun do you gys stay out all night? If not you should have like a 2 or 3 day event non stop that would be fun bring some dehidrated foods so you dont need any fier also stay on the high side of the mountan its a way biger advantidge
@phantomTMA Here in New Zealand the RAM players are using NV and Thermal, scopes headsets etc, starting to leave us paintballing airsofters in the dark ages
@gary77777778888888 dude that is a awsome idea i havnt thought about doing that until i saw your comment we will do that because my friends and i are big airsoft players.
Remember we don't hunt animals. These days our rifles run around 550fps. Some are far lower powered (380fps BAR10). Depends what range you need the rifle to shoot (depends on terrain and season).
I have a CA M24 which is an great rifle but its mags are crap i heard that Sun Project M40 mags will fit it but im not sure can someone tell me if it will or not.
I have a CA M24 and it is a wonderful weapon but its mags are peices of crap is there any other mags that i can get for it. i heard sun project m40 mags will fit it but im not sure can someone help me
APS2 mags should fit it but are pretty much identical. Just lightly silicone lube them in the correct places, to get them working. I had 2 APS2 and 2 CA mags and they all worked flawlessly.
@clemensfrog: info drop for the m14 range. 500 yards affective you're accuracy depinds on you're scope and you're ability to place a shot in a certain amount of time. L96 is an air rifle correct? are you sniping or just pissing off neighbors lol
now see, this is a dream of mine. Id really like to now the range of your m14. I have a ghillie suite myself and an L96, but its not realisticly acurate or powerful. Is there something I'm missing?
Nearly all L96 rifles are based on obsolete APS2 systems and do not have good hop systems. The TM M14 is not amazingly powerful (315fps) but can float 0.25g out to give good groups out to 50m+. It doesn't have the range of a high powered tuned bolt action. It's advantage is mainly, rapid second, or more shots. Better in an anti ambush situation or encounter that turns into an exchange; of course. It is fairly quiet on single shot for an AEG too.
@phantomTMA Got the new Well G25 same hop up system higher powerd gas hop up exacly the same from quck look when i took barrel out but its been working fine.
Yea exact same problem as well haha sorted it now. Turns out when putting it back together (the old L96) I placed the circular piece which allows moment of the hop up rubber when the hop up screw is turned, I put it on the wrong way round but this released tension on the rubber allowing the rubber to be less prominent in the barrel. Then replaced the gas bolt with the L96 spring bolt turns out all the groves fit exactly the same. so in cold weather its just a quick switch over from gas to spring
Also fit the firefly hard vsr hop rubber, rather than the nineball in a vsr/bar. The 9ball is better in a converted tanaka, as the hop up block is different. Hope that helps.
When i played ghillie i used a sniper which i kno your sappose to use, i it was so hard cuz the place the play in its more like a short range battle field. and im think of changeing the gun to m4. So ghillie carrying a m4. is it weird?
No, it sounds sensible and practical. However, I would avoid the m4 rifles as I think there are far better AEG's out there for the job. I suggest the AUG is a great choice over a m4. Better gearbox and hop/barrel. The very sleek barrel is far easier to hide than most big rifles, so the bullpup design works well. I have owned 4 armalites and don't recommend v2 gearboxes if I am honest. The M14 is nice but not in a closer range environment requiring fast movement. Hope that helps.
Ya that is weird. I think that their opponents are not militaryly taied so they do not know to look for snipers doing that stuuf so the snipers think they can do it and not get hit. Kinda ddefeats the purpose of a ghille suit though.
Our games last several days and therefore many of your comments are misconceptions. In a game lasting several days on large sites that is designed to make you navigate/move; you have to stalk upright and take risks. Failure to complete the nav each day loses points. Even if you think real snipers only crawl you are mistaken. This film is a reconstruction of the contacts only; there are many other hours of being prone too. Hope that explains. The video had to show movement to be watchable.
DUDE! ive always thought of making a game like this, but never got the time to get all the equipment nor do i have the enviroment you do, or hell make a video game about it, ya know, customizse your ghillie to match your surroundings, and go head to head with an opposing sniper.
if you already didnt know, Killasniper232, a telescopic site is a scope with no magnification but it still has the sites in it. do you understand what im saying?
on time when i was playing airsoft,i had a l96a1 and camo and i was on the floor lying down. and then when one of the enemy passed by me,and then i stand up slowly and i say "Boo!" and then he satrts screaming and shooting his l85a1 in the air. and then i point blank shoot him in the head with my sniper
Very nice video. I'd have to say, the foliage involved in this piece is magnificent. I'd love to live near a place with an outdoor's view as nice as this one. Thank you for sharing this with me.

sometimes you have to, in order to break contact or to get to a firing position before opponents arrive that you are intercepting.

Your ghillies rock, they store bought or hand made?
Jackd91 2 years ago
There are 3 in this film. One is hand made and very small/minimal using net. It also uses elastic sewn onto the hunting clothing.
One of them is a bog standard webtex concealment vest. While the third is an ADVANTAGE mesh ghillie suit that has had extensive elastics added.
None have much traditional materials added, instead, what you can see is REAL foliage. Nothing imitates foliage better than actual foliage ;)
You just have to expect to spend 30 mins caming up.

M14s are ok but there pretty heavy to lug about plus its hard to source parts to make them shoot at the same standard as most sniper rifles.
embertonbushman 2 years ago
When i played ghillie i used a sniper which i kno your sappose to use, i it was so hard cuz the place the play in its more like a short range battle field. and im think of changeing the gun to m4. So ghillie carrying a m4. is it weird?
ilikebonojo 2 years ago
No, it sounds sensible and practical. However, I would avoid the m4 rifles as I think there are far better AEG's out there for the job. I suggest the AUG is a great choice over a m4. Better gearbox and hop/barrel. The very sleek barrel is far easier to hide than most big rifles, so the bullpup design works well. I have owned 4 armalites and don't recommend v2 gearboxes if I am honest. The M14 is nice but not in a closer range environment requiring fast movement. Hope that helps.

the problem of a ghilie suit is that its heavy enough to make you thirsty during the game...
EddyBombe 2 years ago
thats why I wear a camelback underneath it or just a ghillied camelback itself (its in the film).

buy one, they arent expenssiv...

are gille suits heavy?
gamerfreak145 2 years ago
All depends on the suit. Ones that you see most people wear are indeed bulky and encumbering. Being minimal is best IMO.

What's all this moving around standing up and walking into the open and crossing into sunlight?
GrailcodeDotNet 2 years ago

DUDE! ive always thought of making a game like this, but never got the time to get all the equipment nor do i have the enviroment you do, or hell make a video game about it, ya know, customizse your ghillie to match your surroundings, and go head to head with an opposing sniper.

do you use scopes or red dots?
Killasniper232 2 years ago
telescopic sights.
Good Hunting ;)
phantomTMA 2 years ago
if you already didnt know, Killasniper232, a telescopic site is a scope with no magnification but it still has the sites in it. do you understand what im saying?
jcodym13 2 years ago
Sorry, but your definition sums up most red dots. Telescopic sights DO have maganification (hence the name comes from telescope).

Very nice video. I'd have to say, the foliage involved in this piece is magnificent. I'd love to live near a place with an outdoor's view as nice as this one. Thank you for sharing this with me.
Good luck out there. - C.
