No, you are wrong: the convertible is a factory made one. Only around 30 where built, and not on with the PV as base, but the 445 chassie. So it has a separate frame. The reason why so few where built was the high buildcost/sale price. It cost new more then two new 444, and even more then a luxury american convertible. Around 15 cars still excist.
