You have a very nice, light voice. It might have been a bit young for the piece at the time of this recording, but you'll grow into it. There are small phrasing issues to solve, and you need to free your higher register. If you've continued studying voice since you made this recording, you may have solved these things by now, your voice will likely have matured a bit more, and your voice probably fits this piece well. Keep singing!
This piece fits your voice very well, but ("seek" is too short)
This work has often been called "The Elijah" so it was not stupid for the uploader to use this title. A pleasant young voice, but sung without any expression at all.
it's not called "The Elijah." How stupid. It's just Elijah! Get rid of the definite article. And he shouldn't be singing this with his non-operatic voice and falsetto. Why do teachers give this stuff to their students at this age?
B. Using a term like "non-operatic voice" indicates you have no idea what you're talking about in the first place.
C. This is an excellent song to introduce young tenors into oratorio literature.
Sure, he has some pitch problems, but who doesn't. Just because he's not singing in some overly dark covered tone from hell, doesn't mean his interpretation is any less valid than some 50 year old tenor divo. It's called being a student for a reason.
