The film version of Fury is black. This is due to Nick Fury's appearance in Marvel's Ultimate line. The Ultimate line is a series of comics that don't take place in regular Marvel continuity. It's sort of an alternate Universe. The film decided to go with this version.

I prefer this theme song better than th' other. Hey have you guys noticed that the bigger threats that appear mostly w/ one hero end up fighting everyone. Fin Fang Foom often appears w/ Iron Man but has fought Wolverine, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, and Spiderman. Galactus is usually w/ Fantastic 4 but he fights with Captain America, Thor and other Avengers. Thanos has fought practically everyone even Darkseid.

I know I saw the previews and interviews for this and I'm terrified. The thing is the mid 90's 2nd season set the bar soooo fucking high there's just no upstaging it. We're in a shitty phase with Marvel animation they feel they have kiddify everything and talk down to the audience (see NEXT AVENGERS, SPEC SPIDER-MAN, and the new IRON MAN). Meanwhile no kid wants to see other kid heroes.  They want to escape and see what the grownups can do.

For me when I was a kid whenever the Wonder Twins came on screen on SUPERFRIENDS I got all indignant and and went into suspended animation until the real JLA heroes got the screen again.

Well I have to disagree on you with The Spectacular Spider-man, have you seen the show? It's a d*mn good show, penned by GREG WEISMAN!! Spectacular is actually well written and well done, aside from the animation models and style, it's also WELL animated!

And Spidey has always been a teen/kid hero, that's why he's so popular, however this probably will not work with Iron Man, and it's in CGI, which is so abused right now PIXAR are still the only real innovators right now!

jeez calm down, The reason there are no other heroes on SPectacular is because Greg believes that Spidey is strong enough to carry on his own shows, and since this is based on the original Ditko issues the FF may exist and Cap is probably still frozen in ice and the X-Men have yet to go on their first mission.

Still I may detest the animation style, BUT since this is network and not cable they ahev to keep things cost effecient which probably why Mr. Cheeks gets so much work right now.
