Just this minute finished the book Vali Myers - A MEMOIR - by Gianni
Having been interested in the legend that is Vali I am so pleased to read how lovingly and loyally Gianni tells his story of their life together and apart . I sincerely hope that his wish to hear more about her life when she lived in Australia is realized
He would love to know what she did there and with whom -and so would WE!

I carry the memory of the summer i visited Gianni in 1995. I washed in the waterfall and spent time with Gianni and his good heart, beautiful poetry and all the animals. I still remember the constant sound of the waterfall that washed away the noises in my ears. There are the times when ring him and those sounds - waterfall, animals, stillness, echoes of the valley are all there. Gianni does have Vali's blood in his veins they are twin souls. He is my dear friend.

Hello Gianni, it's good to see you in motion...I've seen only still photos of you. From the small glimpse in this sweet little video it appears that the house and grounds are somewhat the same, only more refined, than when Sheldon and I made the movie Vali in --'65-'66? --which movie I fear is lost and this is quite sad, for me and for anyone else interested in that time in Vali's life...before you entered it. Are the animals that we knew then all dead? Ramona the pig , Fabry, Hasan the horse ?

One thing that I do find strange, though, is that Gianni has so many dogs. I don't think this is in keeping with ideals of ecology and balance. If I was "Jiffy", the cat, I'd not hang about on the ground for long, either, with that many dogs around.
