Ryu = Billy Lee (or Jimmy Lee if you change his palette) as he/they appear in the two-player mode of the Famicom/NES version of Double Dragon 1.

Actually, Bill Rizer is still unknown. That's not actually from the NES title screen. Compare them. The guy in Contra 6 has an angry face and his stance is at an angle. And now that I think about it, I think Guile is the second player sprite from Contra's cutscenes.

This game had me. When the first pitch was in the truck, I asked my brother to go through that part of the track, because I was afraid because of the truck. : D I do not know why. After that I took myself through the game. You can play with him sometimes. Of course, no longer afraid of the truck. I had no idea that this is a hack.

Gameplay-wise this installment was somewhat disappointing but it features my favorite soundtrack in the entire franchise. I know this is arguable.

1) This is not an official Contra game. It's not even a "Contra" game. It's not even Contra. It was originally called Arc Hound.

2) Maybe the music can sound better than the whole Contra series to you. Most people like it, but don't consider it superior.

Oh, I beg to differ. Unlike Contra Force, this game fixes quite a few bugs and reduces slowdown in many places. It's among the top ROM hacks (though this is a pirate).
