These days, the law protects the criminals and not the victims. The Elite sit behind their new laws. By passing such laws as PIPA and SOPA and even the newly born NDAA they are shutting down out freedom and the one place on earth that isn't owned by anyone, the Internet. Without it, we are vulnerable. And communicating with people and groups against the Government will be even harder.

Very well said Senator. I personally buy my songs and movies legally, so I have no issue with the government trying to curb piracy. However, SOPA and PIPA are not the way to approach this issue. I feel as if most of Congress has little to no idea on how the Internet really functions since those bills could affect our online security. More education is required before this issue can be addressed without affecting users such as myself. Best of luck, and keep fighting!

There's gonna be a town-hall meeting in Grants Pass soon where we can meet up with Senator Wyden himself to talk about SOPA and PIPA. I'm definitely going there to voice my concerns as well. Maybe I can get an autograph as well from the guy.
