the blue meaning / sheep farming in barnet /anthem just great stuff .look out for mayhem a special collectors editon i got to see toyah on the anthem tour about 82 in liverpool just a great night
This wasn't taped on the same day as Rebel Run, that was done the following year. This was August 1982. By the time Rebel Run was released she had a new hairstyle and (sadly) a different band line up.
Are you sure this was the same day as the 'Rebel Run' recording? I don't remember her doing 'Ieya' and the stage looks very different - wasn't this 1982? to support the '82 Ieya re-release?
You are correct. This wasn't from the same filming as the Rebel Run recording. The other had Simon Darlow on keys and I don't think bassist Phil Spalding did that one.
In 4 years on Safari records(a very small and tiny independant label)they heavily grafted and toured extensively. They were no 'light weights' usually, two+ full length tours (upwards of 28 dates) a year. As well as writing, recording and promoting. Some band members were inter-changeable,how does this make them a wannabe? Or is that just your lazy unaccomplished writing?
Love the outfit, as always!
