I understood why Amanda was upset that Alison got the promotion to presidency(because Alison won the award and Amanda had cancer at the time), but the way she back stabbed her to get her out of D&D was not right. I was just glad that in season 4 Amanda offered to hire her back at the company which was nice.

Alison never stood her ground when it came to Amanda if u ask me. Caitlin, Alycia, and especially Lexi weren't scared of her. Lexi had Amanda shook for once. Didnt Lexi whoop Eve's ass in like the last season.

Yeah, Alison is finally quitting D&D, Amanda tells Alison that "she always was an amateur", to which Alison says that "she'll (herself) always be one if being a professional takes lying on her back" like Amanda did with Billy.

"you coniving bleached blonde piece of dirt!" LOL Alison rocked for that one. its not th e first time she's let Amanda have it...but too often Amanda would get the last and FINAL blow in the Alison/Amanda catfights.  Ah how i was glad with Lexi let Amanda HAVE it in the final season.

Lexi drove Amanda out of the advertising business and then she ended up purchasing Melrose Place and EVICTING Amanda lol!

there was one scene where Amanda says "I enjoy a little competition" and Lexi replies "honey i'm gonna mop the floor with you" LOL! Lexi wasnt really thinking about Amanda until Peter confessed he still loved Amanda while he was seeing Lexi. Lexi was definately gunning for Amanda in the last two seasons in the way that Caitlyn and Alycia had in earlier seasons.

I always thought Alycia was a wasted character... spunky, but killed off too early. Though nothing can compare to the Amanda/Alison fights, but Amanda got the last word in too often...

OMG! there's FINALLY someone who actually noticed Alycia beside me! lol! Anne-Marie Johnson did a HELL of a portaying the foil to Amanda during season 4-5, not to mention her creative way of killing of Bobby...her death was as shocking as it was stupid. The fights between Amanda and Alison were classic, but Alison really didnt do ENOUGH to bust Amanda's chops the way Caitlyn, Alycia or Lexi did.

Alison did get a few good ones in though... but going after Amanda wasn't ever really Alison's character. I mentioned in another part of these comments about a really good line she had in season four in which she called Amanda a whore and finally got the last word in during an arguement.

Caitlyn was another character that didn't last nearly long enough.

there was one other moment. Amanda had slept with Billy after he won the award (this was when he was a big asshole lol) and Alison and Amanda were having an exchange about it. Amanda said: its a boys club at the top Alison and I intend to be the last WOMAN standing. to which Alison replied: How can that be? you spend so much time on your back? and Amanda couldnt say a word LOL!

As I was watching Season 3 on DVD, Alison had a couple of good lines in on Amanda. One when Alison and some bad influence were skinny dipping in the pool... Alison tells Amanda that "The only one who can be loose around here is you." LOL! Alison also didn't hold back when Bruce hung himself in Amanda's office.
