I don't think anybody want's to believe that something as terrible as 9/11 could have been allowed by our trusted leaders for political objectives. I really wish it were not true. Unfortunately facts do not cease to exist because we do not like their implications.

The reality is that "false flag" attacks have been used throughout history as a way to trick an unsuspecting public into accepting things like war or other unpopular policies. To think it could not happen here is sadly naive.

When we go into history the government has done some unbelievable things, but the sad part is "this is true for everyone, not just politicans" though they are in a better position to pull it off. The bigger question becomes "How far are they willing to go to get what they want?" and I don't think the government is going to go as far as murder 3000 people just for war. Give it a year or two longer and without 911 we would have gone to war anyway so I see little to no point in doing that.

I'll do that but however I won't guarentee a change in my point of view, no evidence provided from scientists who discredit conspiracy theories or whatever lttle evidence provided from truthers has never been conclusive evidence. Unless I'm mistaken Thermite is a mix of aluminum, iron, and copper. Somthing like that could have mixed in the melting of these three materials and when they mix could have set off a thermite reaction. I heard about the mangesium charge but does heat work as well?

1. the official NIST version, which ignored evidence, relied on unscientific speculation, and has refused peer review.

2. the scientific method using photo, video, documents, and testimonial evidence, demonstrating 10 features of controlled demolitions, and now over 800 engineering professionals have signed Gage's petition for a new investigation.

Problem is little impossible has been removed from all the theories and possibilites from either arguement. And no tests to date have been able to remove impossibilites, only strengthen or weaken theories which is where the problem begins. The material in question is "nanothermite" which is very different from regular thermite. When you micro size the aluminum and iron particles the energy produced is multiplied into a high explosive. The micro sizing has to be done in a laboratory process and could not just randomly form in the rubble.

This nanothermite is what was found in 4 out of 4 WTC dust samples documented in the "Active thermitic material..." paper. Anybody with a sample of WTC dust can verify the same test.

As true as that is I have yet to hear of anyone being able to test nanothermite, and the controversy about which kind of thermite has been used because I heard people making a big fuss about thermite being used, and then when scientists said that regualr thermite couldn't be responsible some people suggest nanothermite, and in order to test it I hear they need high level military clearance in order to access it let alone test it.

If the gov was involved I fear what would become of the country, people aren't going to simply say "Oh obama will fix it". And if the answer is no the gov wasn't involved hardcore truthers will still bitch about the investigators being in league with the conspiracy and therefore the investigation wouldn't have done anything, so I'm not opposing it just skeptical of either outcome

There are many reasons to avoid taking the 9/11 case seriously, like "conspiracy theories are almost always lies." The majority of emergency fire calls are false alarms, that does not mean that each call should not be answered, because fires, like conspiracies, do occasionally happen.

Again, the validity of each claim needs to be judged on the evidence used to back it. There is now hard scientific data to back the theory of controlled demotions. Have you seen "911: Blueprint for Truth"?

If you think another investigation by government officials will reveal anything new, guess again. Why do you think Nixon was immediately pardoned after he stepped down? NO administration can afford to reveal the crimes or even gross negligence of a previous administration because they have already learned from the past that this results in a widespread distrust of the present administration. The executive director of the 9/11 Commission, Philip Zelikow, had to testify in his own investigation because of his participation in the Bush administrations pre 9/11 actions.

Yet this was the man who decided what topics should be included or omitted from the investigation.

That just reeks of conflicting interests!

Lee Hamilton, who is the gentleman in the video discussing the problems with the 9/11 Commission, so I assume you believe he is a trustworthy person, is the person who asked that Zelikow be named committe chairman, against the opposition of the Bush White House. He was also supported by many of the victim's family groups, who were very vocal against Kissinger being named. In other words, someone well respected and qualified to do an honourable job on the 9/11 Commission.

First of all Lee Hamilton, whom I do not consider credible, has protected the Bush family from scandal investigations as far back as 1980 "October Surprise" and 1986 "Iran Contra". Look it up.

Tom Kean was the official replacement for Kissinger as head of the commission despite his oil business dealings with reputed al Qaeda financier Khalid bin Mafouz.

Please show me any evidence the Bush White House opposed Zelikow's appointment.

Zelikow was recommended by Slade Gorton, not Hamilton, and was opposed by several members of the Commission and Counterterrorism tsar Richard Clarke who knew Zelikow's obvious conflicting interests:
