The original was absolutely spectacular. The new one? I thought it was totally epic. Gave me goosebumps. :) Canadian Idol winner, Eva Avila sang an impressive remake of the original song too. She totally did it justice. :)

The United States guarantees the stability and prosperity the world has. Canada should be part of the United States, instead of a second rate world player, so that the U.S. could better utilise Canada's resources to this end. The two countries never should have been separated into two entities. We have the same culture. Canada should become part of the United States in the interest of a better world. I mean this in all seriousness.
Instead of sounding as if you want better things in the world, you make it sound as if Canada would only be a resource used until it dies, then can be discarded.
Unfortunately people don't think, nor want to be, military peoples all the time.
If the USA was as stable and prosperous as you say, then it would be out making much peace with the world, crating bridges with many other countries, and trying to make third world countries more stable.
I'm not getting mad, actually. And it's not the Canadian national anthem, if that's what you're thinking. Simply one of the best attractions in Epcot : it makes you want to weep, and think, that's the country I'd love to visit, that's the country I'd love to live. I'm not Canadian, by the way.
i know is not the original oh canada, but when i post the first time i didn't remember that Epcot is divided (i think half of the park) in sections that are supposed to represent a country...
That's right : half of the park is divided in sections that represent a country, Canada, Norway, Germany, France, Italy, Mexico, China, Japan ... I strongly recommend everyone to visit the Canada pavillion. It's an unforgettable experience. I thought I had to wait for another vacation in Orlando in order to watch again that video and listen again to the song "Canada (You're a Lifetime Journey)", performed by the Canadian Idol winner Eva Avila.
I have it on CD..they sell it at Disney on a CD called FOUR PARKS IN ONE...but unfortunately it doesn't say who is singing the song. Whoever it is has a amazing voice
