@technologyninjaX3 Most monitor resolutions are 16:10 not 16:9 (your TV's resolution) so when you plug it into your TV it will either stretch the picture or remove the sides. for example; my monitor is 1050i; my tv is 1080i.

You also find that monitors have much quicker response timings, contrast ratio's and they also have dvi. (this doesn't matter when you have HD) Either way, your monitor will do a better job at displaying txt and games.

Just one thing I wanted to say. A lot of people seem to be calling the i7 980(x) the i9. It is NOT an i9. The i9 is an 8 core, yes 8 core processor. It is only in prototype versions right now and only a few lucky people outside of Intel managed to get one. Currently they are not the most stable things either.

Like this is a permanent setup. Sure the processor is able to do it but how many people in the world are going to run liquid helium or liquid nitrogen through their computers? The stuff evaporates off fairly rapidly so a tank will do your computer for a couple of hours. That would get expensive. I always think these record things are funny since only like 50 people are going to leave their mobos out in the open with fans all over them and Liquid nitrogen on their CPUs.

@Lupic1995 Just because they don't sell it yet doesn't mean they don't have their prototype chips. If they are selling the i7 they already have been working on the next chip for over a year. My cousin has one of these as well, but he works for Intel. There is a dirty secret to CPUs and that is that when 1 is released the next two are already designed. However the companies want to have a market so they put all designs away until they are ready to have another CPU. The i7 project finished in '07.

Sure but you dont replace a i7 with a i9 because the i9 is gonna need a motherboard that will support it and ASUS is the only one that has ONLY 1 motherboard that will support the i9 performance wise.
