I also thought at first that the viewing angle was fixed and at first was very disappointed, but on further inspection found this not to be true and the base does indeed tilt you just have to know how to do it as at first you just have to place the whole monitor gently on it face on the material provided for this purpose and then unscrew the metal key on the base of the stand then gently tilt with tilt with moderate pressure.
oh it`s okay i fixed the problem after drilling out a hole that was way to small for the other component to fit in so it`s working now and up and running and why the hell is it made with so much forward tilt??! i have had to put piece of folded newspaper under the base of the stand to make ot horizontal to my eyes completly ridiculous,do the koreans live on a slope or something ffs
Its a gypo telling you that this monitor is shite and that it has lots of cool features, none of which are worth anything as the whole thing is designed, constructed and made by Samsung...which makes it shite. Even the pikies wouldnt nick this.

dvi=hdmi without sound. There are adapters from DVI to HDMI.

Yes this will work with an xbox but u need a dvi to hdmi converter ($5) And it has a very fine image quality
