Good question. No one has the Mark of the Beast. The Mark of the beast has to be enforced. When this becomes a forced issue, one and all will have to make the decision to either obey God or obey man. I did a presentation on my Bible study youtube page.

It's wrong how people are programed to the understanding that Sunday is the end of the 'weekend', and not even dawn on them that is the first day of the week. I've literally had to demonstrate this with a calander to my mid 30 -40+yr old friends. No-one of us here is obove the Sabbath.
In NZ its already here di squised in the working week legislation - Monday to Saturday 1st day of week to 7th day. And the opposite is true as well, if you don't believe in God and the Bible and don't except Jesus Christ as your redeemer and Saviour, but, you do all the "right" things and are a good person, well, you're accepting the Mark of the Beast in your forehead by not deliberately choosing God and His Seal/Mark.
So if you truly Love God and want to spend eternity with Him and you study your Bible cover to cover and know whats true, and for whatever reason (Fear, protecting your life or the life of your family, wanting to be able to BUY food and water and SELL possesions for gain,etc.) you don't stand for God and His Truth, then at that point you are excepting the Mark of the Beast in your hand, because you won't DO anything about your belief.
What is extremely interesting is that God requires His Seal/Mark in both our forehead and our hand, signifying that not only do his followers have to accept the truth and make a deliberate choice to follow Him, but, they have to prove it with their actions as well. Satan on the other hand doesn't care what you believe as long as you don't follow God, or if you follow False doctrine and truly believe it. The Mark of the Beast is either in the forehead or the hand, not both.
Then of course the hand. Everyone again will have to decide, no matter how difficult things may get, am I going to actively do the work of God and what is right (Seal of God), or am I going to actively NOT do the work of God and do what I know may NOT be right (Mark of the Beast).
Just as a point of reference though, the Seal of God is in the forehead and hand, the Mark of the Beast is in the forehead or hand. The forehead is the part of the head where the frontal lobe of the brain is located, which is the part of the brain that processes information and allows us to make decisions. So what John is saying here in Revelation is that every single persona on earth will make a decision to either follow God and his word (Seal of God) or follow Satan (Mark of the Beast).

the mark of the beast is symbolic. the relationship between you and God is personal. If you decide to carry the mark of the beast on your forehead(brain) you betrayed God.
The seal of God is Sabbath and the seal of man is Sunday. whichever you have chosen will determine you eternal life.

dmac333100 The rapture doctrine has been misunderstood by many in that they place it before the tribulation period. I beg to differ from that understanding. The rapture is not pre-tribulation, it is a post tribulation rapture, at the sound of the last trumpet, not the first trumpet. The so called christians will go through the tribulation period with the exception of those who die from natural or accidental death. The rapture takes place at the last trumpet and not before.
I was wondering if you've ever considered the possibility that Islam may be the beast mentioned of in revelation, or at least one of them? I've been looking into it recently, and they appear to fit pretty closely with the things mentioned about the beast throughout the bible.

Jesus said in Matt 12:40For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. Now read John 19:31- 20:1. In verse 31 John states this was a high sabbath which refers to a festival day or as we would say holiday. This was not the preparation day for the weekly sabbath but for the Passover week (a Yearly Sabbath) Probably a Wed eve.
A high sabbath is when the yearly sabbath is on the weekly sabbath. If you read Luke 23:56 it says the women rested according to the commandments that is the 4th commandment. Sorry it can not be Wednesday.
Jesus was rested Thursday night. This is when Jesus was in the heart of the earth. Thursday night to Sunday morning is three days and three nights inclusive.
Well the gospels don't contradict each other. I don't care what wikipedia says. I only want to know what the Bible says. Jesus died on the preparation day on Abib or Nissan 14, the Passover. He rested in the tomb all through Sabbath and rose early on the first day of the week in the morning just as the sun is coming up. The Bible counts days inclusivily. 3 Bible days is only a couple of days. Jesus is following the pattern of the feasts. Passover, Unleavened bread and Firstfruits.

i remember when i was young, sunday opening was not done at all. Since the world is so secular now and not many go to church on sunday or saturday, to bring this ruleing in would be a good thing, it would stop the shops from opening and consumers from consuming and maybe have a good effect on family life. IMPORTANT CONCLUSION:

Concerning the old Mosaic statutes, commands, observances, etc, the apostles settled it in Acts 15: we need not keep ANY days, Sun OR Sat (Paul reiterates this elsewhere thoroughly). This Sunday law is a red herring by the Vatican, a deception.

What verse are you referring to in regards to not keeping any days? Because if that is the case, we need not keep the 10 commandments full stop which would be catastrophic to Christianity. You have to be careful not to mix in the ceremonial laws with the 10 commandments

My friend don't look at this from the surface, look at it from the FOUNDATION. God said something and Dan 7:25, the beast powers says something else.
The issue is do we obey God or do we obey man. The Sabbath day is the day which IDENTIFIES God as the LORD and CREATOR of the Universe. This day is the day that had HIGH significance and if someone comes along and says forget about what God said to REMEMBER, who are we following....
One could argue using the same reasons as SDA apply against Sunday, that all who worship the Carpenters son Jesus Christ on Wednesday are giving homage to the god of wood, since that is what Wednesday is named after. And that since there is no command in the Bible, and it is nothing more than a tradition, that worshiping God on Wednesday offends God and all who partake in midweek services will ultimately receive God's wrath during the 7 last plagues and the lake of fire.
I think the point is greatly missed. We are talking of the law of God and someone coming up and saying do not obey God, obey me. If you are looking on the surface, you will see it as something petty. In the same way in Daniel 3, the law of God saying not to bow to graven images, one could just say 'I'll bow down but only to God WHILE everyone else is bowing down to the image. Dan 7:25 prophesies that the papacy will do this and they have.

If you notice also, those who have the seal of God are those who keep the commandments of God AND the faith of Jesus. In the last days it will be just like it was in Daniel 3. Will you obey God or obey man.

Ellen White never acknowledged this. In fact she never commented on this verse even once. The Bible says “If any man think himself to be a prophet… let him acknowledge”

Those verses you presented, you need to look next at the work of the Holy Spirit. It is obvious that whoever is sealed has the Holy Spirit. What is the work of the Holy Spirit?

During the first centuries of Christianity the Christians in Rome were hiding in catacombs, they had no universal influence whatsoever. Catholics claim to have roots directly to Peter, therefore it is based on that assumption ALONE, that Catholics claim the responsibility for Christians assembling on Sundays at such an early date, when they had no political nor universal influence.

A council of pastors from all over the Eastern Roman empire assembled in Laodicea in 336 A.D. At this meeting the Christian church officially recognized what was already in practice for centuries. The Catholic catechism makes reference to this in its boast of the change. History gives undeniable proofs that THE BISHOP OF ROME WAS NOT AT THIS COUNCIL, IN FACT HE WAS NOT REPRESENTED AT THIS COUNCIL BY ANYONE. There was not a pope until 200 years later (533 A.D.)
The Catholic church had nothing to do with Christians assembling on Sunday during the first through third centuries. Christians assembled on the first day of the week long before there was universally recognized Pope in Rome. History records Christians assembling together on Sunday during the first and second centuries, so how could the Bishop of Rome orchestrate a change to Sunday since there was no Bishop in Rome until late in the third century?
Brother I know where you are coming from, I taught EXACTLY as you do for 18 years, as a very devote Seventh-day Adventist. I in fact I preached it on the radio 5 days a week. No longer! History does not support Pagans worshiping weekly on Sunday, that is a MYTH. I have documents from Harvard, Smithsonian, British Museum and more that prove that. I refuse to teach things that are not historically true. For years I accepted them with out actually having all the facts.

Good question. No one has the Mark of the Beast. The Mark of the beast has to be enforced. When this becomes a forced issue, one and all will have to make the decision to either obey God or obey man. I did a presentation on my Bible study youtube page.

But don't you think it is a bit obvious for satan to use? Remember Satan has had over 6000 years of experience. It is too obvious for it to be literal. Also need to bare in mind that those who do not have the mark of the beast will keep the commandments of God and have the faith of Jesus. So those who have the Mark of the Beast are those who do the opposite. James 2 says that if you break 1 commandment, you break all.
Therefore the issue is to obey God OR Satan

Its just that most ppl read Bible prophecy and explain it wrong, either bcz they simply don't know or r wolfs in sheep's clothing, good luck.

It's wrong how people are programed to the understanding that Sunday is the end of the 'weekend', and not even dawn on them that is the first day of the week. I've literally had to demonstrate this with a calander to my mid 30 -40+yr old friends. No-one of us here is obove the Sabbath.

So if you truly Love God and want to spend eternity with Him and you study your Bible cover to cover and know whats true, and for whatever reason (Fear, protecting your life or the life of your family, wanting to be able to BUY food and water and SELL possesions for gain,etc.) you don't stand for God and His Truth, then at that point you are excepting the Mark of the Beast in your hand, because you won't DO anything about your belief.

What is extremely interesting is that God requires His Seal/Mark in both our forehead and our hand, signifying that not only do his followers have to accept the truth and make a deliberate choice to follow Him, but, they have to prove it with their actions as well. Satan on the other hand doesn't care what you believe as long as you don't follow God, or if you follow False doctrine and truly believe it. The Mark of the Beast is either in the forehead or the hand, not both.

Just as a point of reference though, the Seal of God is in the forehead and hand, the Mark of the Beast is in the forehead or hand. The forehead is the part of the head where the frontal lobe of the brain is located, which is the part of the brain that processes information and allows us to make decisions. So what John is saying here in Revelation is that every single persona on earth will make a decision to either follow God and his word (Seal of God) or follow Satan (Mark of the Beast).

the mark of the beast is symbolic. the relationship between you and God is personal. If you decide to carry the mark of the beast on your forehead(brain) you betrayed God.
The seal of God is Sabbath and the seal of man is Sunday. whichever you have chosen will determine you eternal life.

@redeemedOne32 This is the big trick played on most ppl that the # of the beast and 666 in a chip, 1st ppl thought many years back it was the bar code bcz the 1st, middle and last code bar where all 6, but if this did happen then it wouldn't matter if a SDA got the chip, its just a tool, like a credit card. dmac333100 The rapture doctrine has been misunderstood by many in that they place it before the tribulation period. I beg to differ from that understanding. The rapture is not pre-tribulation, it is a post tribulation rapture, at the sound of the last trumpet, not the first trumpet. The so called christians will go through the tribulation period with the exception of those who die from natural or accidental death. The rapture takes place at the last trumpet and not before.

From what I've looked into, they appear to fit pretty closely to the prophecies of the first beast. Granted the second beast system could very well be when their false prophet takes the seat in the catholic church. We're seeing a rise of Islam in our day and age, and they are like the polar opposite to christianity.

Moshe writes in Exodus Chapter 16 that the poeple of Yisrael come to the Sin desert on the 15th day of the second month where they camp and the Yisraelites begin to complain after which YHWH sends them quail IN THE EVENING of that very day (which is actually the next day because a date goes from dusk to dusk)...

Two questions my dear friend: 1) Exactly what weekday was the 15th day of the 2nd month (the word month by the way comes from the word for moon). 2) Why did YHWH give the Yisraelites a double portion of "What is this" on the 6th day?

There are still some fellowships and religions that hold true to this and it is also why they have worship service on Saturday and not Sunday because they know the truth about the true Sabbath . Jesus said in Matt 12:40For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. Now read John 19:31- 20:1. In verse 31 John states this was a high sabbath which refers to a festival day or as we would say holiday. This was not the preparation day for the weekly sabbath but for the Passover week (a Yearly Sabbath) Probably a Wed eve.

A high sabbath is when the yearly sabbath is on the weekly sabbath. If you read Luke 23:56 it says the women rested according to the commandments that is the 4th commandment. Sorry it can not be Wednesday.
Jesus was rested Thursday night. This is when Jesus was in the heart of the earth. Thursday night to Sunday morning is three days and three nights inclusive.

Well the gospels don't contradict each other. I don't care what wikipedia says. I only want to know what the Bible says. Jesus died on the preparation day on Abib or Nissan 14, the Passover. He rested in the tomb all through Sabbath and rose early on the first day of the week in the morning just as the sun is coming up. The Bible counts days inclusivily. 3 Bible days is only a couple of days. Jesus is following the pattern of the feasts. Passover, Unleavened bread and Firstfruits.

i remember when i was young, sunday opening was not done at all. Since the world is so secular now and not many go to church on sunday or saturday, to bring this ruleing in would be a good thing, it would stop the shops from opening and consumers from consuming and maybe have a good effect on family life. IMPORTANT CONCLUSION:
It is not about the Sabbath, it's simply about who you WORSHIP, who you OBEY. The issue at the end time can be idol worship, taking the Lords name in vain etc. It is not about the Sabbath per-say.
The ROOT is who do we worship at the end time.

Concerning the old Mosaic statutes, commands, observances, etc, the apostles settled it in Acts 15: we need not keep ANY days, Sun OR Sat (Paul reiterates this elsewhere thoroughly). This Sunday law is a red herring by the Vatican, a deception.

And the commandment placed in the Mercy seat which represented the character of God, You want to know what God is like you look at the commandments, they are not rules to be followed, they are love, teaching you how you should love. Ezekiel 9.3-6 shows that it is only God's mark in the forehead that saved, just like Rev7.3 & 14.1 and NOT the HANDS (works of the old law). However, the Beast's mark incl hands (works). You err not knowing the word.

One could argue using the same reasons as SDA apply against Sunday, that all who worship the Carpenters son Jesus Christ on Wednesday are giving homage to the god of wood, since that is what Wednesday is named after. And that since there is no command in the Bible, and it is nothing more than a tradition, that worshiping God on Wednesday offends God and all who partake in midweek services will ultimately receive God's wrath during the 7 last plagues and the lake of fire.

I think the point is greatly missed. We are talking of the law of God and someone coming up and saying do not obey God, obey me. If you are looking on the surface, you will see it as something petty. In the same way in Daniel 3, the law of God saying not to bow to graven images, one could just say 'I'll bow down but only to God WHILE everyone else is bowing down to the image. Dan 7:25 prophesies that the papacy will do this and they have.

And since Roman Christians were hiding in catacombs at this time, having no political or universal influence whatsoever! The Seal of God is NOT a future event!
2 Corinthians 1:22 WHO HATH (past tense) ALSO SEALED us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

Those verses you presented, you need to look next at the work of the Holy Spirit. It is obvious that whoever is sealed has the Holy Spirit. What is the work of the Holy Spirit?

Ellen White seriously contradicted her self about the Sunday Mark of the Beast theory, leaving the Adventists with no real way to define exactly HOW a Sunday Law would offend God. Take your time brother! I mean that, this is not something that should be taken lightly or rushed. A lot of emotions are involved when we look at something that is our core belief of the end times. I encourage you to look at other articles such as the one about OCTOBER 22, 1844, THE INVESTIGATIVE JUDGMENT. and the article called KNOW THYSELF! It will help you to understand your emotions while you study this. I went through the same thing. I understand, SO PLEASE TAKE YOUR TIME!

One could argue using the same reasons as SDA apply against Sunday, that all who worship the Carpenters son Jesus Christ on Wednesday are giving homage to the god of wood, since that is what Wednesday is named after. And that since there is no command in the Bible, and it is nothing more than a tradition, that worshiping God on Wednesday offends God and all who partake in midweek services will ultimately receive God's wrath during the 7 last plagues and the lake of fire.

One could reason, using the SDA argument against Sunday, that all who worship on Saturday are actually giving homage to the pagan god of all gods, the father of Zeus, Saturn, previously known as Cronus, the God of time. And that all who keep its 24 hours sacred are giving homage to the god of time. I hope you can see the argument that Christians are giving homage to Apollo is just as unreasonable as saying Adventists are giving homage to Cronus. Or the god of wood on Wednesday.

How did the Roman Christians influence the world to assemble on Sunday from the first centuries? During the first centuries of Christianity the Christians in Rome were hiding in catacombs, they had no universal influence whatsoever. Catholics claim to have roots directly to Peter, therefore it is based on that assumption ALONE, that Catholics claim the responsibility for Christians assembling on Sundays at such an early date, when they had no political nor universal influence.

A council of pastors from all over the Eastern Roman empire assembled in Laodicea in 336 A.D. At this meeting the Christian church officially recognized what was already in practice for centuries. The Catholic catechism makes reference to this in its boast of the change. History gives undeniable proofs that THE BISHOP OF ROME WAS NOT AT THIS COUNCIL, IN FACT HE WAS NOT REPRESENTED AT THIS COUNCIL BY ANYONE. There was not a pope until 200 years later (533 A.D.)

The Catholic church had nothing to do with Christians assembling on Sunday during the first through third centuries. Christians assembled on the first day of the week long before there was universally recognized Pope in Rome. History records Christians assembling together on Sunday during the first and second centuries, so how could the Bishop of Rome orchestrate a change to Sunday since there was no Bishop in Rome until late in the third century?

Brother I know where you are coming from, I taught EXACTLY as you do for 18 years, as a very devote Seventh-day Adventist. I in fact I preached it on the radio 5 days a week. No longer! History does not support Pagans worshiping weekly on Sunday, that is a MYTH. I have documents from Harvard, Smithsonian, British Museum and more that prove that. I refuse to teach things that are not historically true. For years I accepted them with out actually having all the facts.

ANSWER: Absolutely not…this would be preposterous. This idea of supporting such penalties for not honoring Sunday has been attributed to our organization in the past, but such claims have never been true.
QUESTION: Do you favor a worldwide, universal Sunday law to enforce Sunday observance upon the entire world?
ANSWER: Absolutely not.
