Ok to answer all your questions about why she didn't fight is because she knew him... He was a family friend... The worst part about all of this is he left her body behind a church... They now hold a saftey rally there every year in her honor and there is a garden and a fountain in the spot were her body was found... carlie's mum did have a drug problem before the girl's death: she got arrested in 1995 plus she had a relapse months before the murder.
She was also a thief and a prostitute.

That poor girl. She didn't know what she was getting herself into, just like so many other innocent females who are kidnapped, raped and murdered. They better have that guy in jail for life, at least. I recommend watching the ''Just Yell Fire'' movie that is aimed at teenage girls on how to protect themselves from rapists, abductors etc. It's very interesting and it may save your life, so you will never have to become a victim like poor Carlie.

Yes, he was identified by people who saw this tape, and he told the authorities where they could find her body. I think it was 4-5 days later. She'd been raped and strangled to death.

How come they go through all the trouble to install cams that don't have sound? It would help knowing what the criminals are saying, and may help identify them by voice.
