  • i'm wait this..

  • I agree with all you guys. I was figuring this camera and lens was going to go for around 800 dollars. It is still so new the whole micro-three/fourths concept. the Sony HX-1 compact has great video and excellent stereo sound. For under 500 most folks will probably go for that.

  • no comparison between this and the sony man..... the glass on this camera is worth a grand to begin with. continuous focus 1080 24/60i blah blah blah....at the end of the day this camera is hot dude..

  • Thanks for the input Hag. Despite the cost, the HX-1 sounds like a fantastic camera.

  • seriously out of sync

  • Pricing released for the Lumix GH1 for $1500 with the 14-140mm, who would buy that camera for that price? I even doubt buying it at just $500.00.

  • $1500? It's extremely expensive. For this price I'll buy Nikon D90 + 16-85 VR. For my opinion max. price for GH1 is $1000 (with lens). Again, $1000 is maximum price. It's mean, that $700-800 (with lens) is OK. IMHO.

  • Yea I guess $700 is very fair price for this cam. It might eventually come to that prices as demand dies down.

  • If you haven't used any four third lens (branded Zuiko, Leica) or pro camrcorder (HD Canon & Sony), don't talk nonsense. There are plenty of medium-level lenses that cost over 500 USD and most HD camcorder cost 500 USD. 1500 is a bit pricey but it is just released price, 1000 might be okay (quality of lens is not yet confirmed). 500 USD, what an idiot not to buy it!
